Rock of Ages

The "Rock of Ages" DVD brought pure entertainment into my home! With its stellar cast and infectious musical numbers, it's a must-have for any fan of '80s rock. The energy and nostalgia it evokes make it a go-to for movie nights with friends or solo sing-alongs. Highly recommended!

The "story" line makes sense with a great use of Rock music from the 80s. I actually missed that (i was alive but in college... .way too busy) and now enjoy a lot of this music. Story is believable even, the music is great and the acting is well done even.

You'll LOVE this movie! Cast and story line ...just fit together SO well. Well worth the money.

Arrived in great condition. The movie its self is awesome. I'm not normally a musical kind of guy but this movie just rocks.

This movie was a lot of fun with a great soundtrack my wife and I enjoyed it maybe not suitable for the young one's tho.

Depuis que je l'ai acheté, j'ai du le regardé une dixaine de fois ! J'adore ce film et j'adore la bande originale ! Très bonne expérience avec ce vendeur, mon blu ray est arrivé rapidement et en bon état.

Okay, so I just hate musicals. Hollywood, Bollywood, Stage - any kind of Musical. All that gratuitous singing and dancing. I mean, how can you suspend disbelief? Well, you can't. But what you can do, is get out your air guitar, and just pour that sugar on, baby. Oh yeah. I absolutely LOVE this movie. Best Musical ever made. The ONLY Musical I could watch more than once, I could watch this over & over again. I DO watch this movie over and again. What's not to like? All those rock anthems & power ballads from the seventies & eighties, and Tom Cruise sending up every self-obsessed rock idol you ever saw or imagined, and sending up himself into the bargain. Oh, and by the way, he can actually SING. And so too, apparently, can Catherine Zeta Jones, & even Alec Balwin (well, almost). All the main players actually SING the songs. These are new recordings made by the stars of the movie. The whole thing is carried off with such aplomb you can't help but fall in love with it, at least if you grew up in that era. Oh, and there's a monkey in it! Hey man! I guess there will be those who can't bring themselves to admit to enjoying this kind of thing in case they lose their street cred, but I couldn't give a monkey's for street cred. so this is the Musical for me. Maybe the ONLY Musical for me. Okay, Mum & Dad, there are a few sexual references which get pretty close to the bone here and there, but I think they get away with it (hell, this is Rock'N'Roll after all) and I think your kids will be okay watching this. They'll be very okay!
