Thundershirt for Dogs, XXS,-Small ,Grey

I ordered the ThunderShirt for my three and a half year old Maltese dog after searching for something that would help him from being stressed and barking his heart out every time he heard fireworks. It arrived earlier than I expected which was great as where I live fireworks are set off way before bonfire night. From the moment I put it on him he relaxed completely and didn’t attempt to bark or run to the door once despite the firework noises being relentless. It was unbelievable really and he has worn it for the last three evenings and has been very happy to have it on. It fits perfectly and the material is lovely and soft and stretches well. I will say though that the Velcro fasteners are strong and do make the Velcro ripping sound but my dog was already used to this from the Velcro fasteners on his dog coat so it didn’t bother him. The other thing I noticed was that he didn’t bother barking when an animal appeared on TV which is a real bonus as he usually barks at every creature even a cartoon one! So this will be great to put on him for a while if we want to watch an animal film or programme in peace. I’m so happy that we have had a stress free fireworks weekend at last. The ThunderShirt is worth every single penny I paid for it.

Was sceptical at first about this but it does work! Has calmed my dog right down!My dog Bluebell is a staffie X lab and she is very noise reactive. She is a rescue from Battersea and she wasn’t trained as a puppy and 2nd owners mistreated her so she reacts to lots of noises. Even if it’s a movie on tv with fighting or shooting. She is most reactive to fireworks. This has been working since received on 4th November and I'm going to try it again tonight (5th). Lots of fireworks go off as neighbours are disrespectful and let them off till early hours (they are youths and don’t care /think it’s funny to scare animals). I hope it works tonight too! Good quality and fast delivery (next day) better to pay more to get better quality as cheap ones are not as good. Now the company just needs to make itty bitty ones for bearded dragons lol (joke! Oreo doesn’t seem to mind the noise!)

During firework season, my dog doesn't know what to do with herself. She tries to climb into bookshelves, shakes uncontrollably, whines, despite having a diffuser on and calming tablets. This vest did seem to help a little. I'll be using it over New Year and see if it helps then too. It's well made, fits ok. I'd day it's definitely worth a try if your dog suffers.

Unfortunately this product did not work for our 5 year old cockapoo with separation anxiety. He did however really enjoy wearing it and he looked cool. We did return it.

I bought this vest not expecting much, but it really works. Our cockapoo was super reactive to any noises outside, especially at night but since wearing the thunder suit, she's much more chilled. She now wears it most nights as it's doesn't restrict her and is nice and lightweight. Big things like fireworks do still worry her but she doesn't freak out and is far less anxious. Would recommend for anyone with a nervous/anxious dog.

First one I ordered had Velcro fasten not fully stitched looked like machinest had run out of thread but not realised, but seller quickly replaced without any problems. Whilst the coat is a little too lose on my teacup Chihuahua if id gone for extra extra small that would have probably been too short in overall body length because my fur baby is a little long. All in all the measurements are very accurate and if you measure your dog has recommended you should be fine. My little fur baby is a little stressfull in new situations but particularly during thunder storms, going to the Vets or when fireworks are going off, so much so I hate it once fireworks go on sale has bonefire night now seems to go on for weeks not just 5th November and likewise New Years Eve as fireworks seem to be the norm. Only had chance to try once so far during heavy thunder storm and within five/ten minutes of putting on my usually very nervous little boy lay down and went to sleep. I just hope it works as Well when fireworks start to go off because its upsetting to see how stressed my little fur baby gets. Likewise on his next visit to the Vets (it was his Vet who recommended the Storm jacket). Initial reaction very good and I'll post an update once the ultimate test takes place - fireworks and Vets visit. Don't know why or how it works but definitely seems like it does. It's a bit like swaddling a baby approach I think, so some could argue a blanker wrapped around the dog with a cuddle would work just as well, but the dog couldn't move around with a blanket but of course can in the Storm jacket. Added benefit this seller was selling the XS Storm Jacket £10 cheaper than Pets At Home and other Amazon sellers, and having seen boxed product in Pets at Home, I can confirm I received the same genuine boxed product. All in all recommended product for stressed pooch. Update had this stress jacket for about 3 years and still fits my pooch perfectly and looks as good as new after numerous washes. It works brilliantly during stressful situations particularly when fireworks are going off. Definitely calms my little fur baby and he happily lets me pit it on him. Definitely worth buying.

There is nothing that I don't like about the thunder shirt.my dog is extremely nervous and I have tried everything on sale ,some had hardly any effect on her .I had her with the vet the only thing he could offer was long term medication .I wasn't keen on that but eventually gave it a try for one month at a cost of €100 with little or no effect. She loves her thunder shirt it's so cosy noise doesn't bother anymore when she's wearing it , it's like you had your arm around her all the time.Can't recommend it enought.Thank you Amazon.

The shirt is of good quality and fits my dog well. My dog still fears fireworks while she is wearing it but I do feel it has taken the edge off it.

I got this for my little pup. She's a sweet girl but extremely anxious. She was a rescue and had been feral as a puppy. She bonded with me and my partner but nobody else and would cower from or bark at anybody else in the house.When I put this on her, she will jump up in my daughters' laps and cuddle with them. This is a complete change in personality. She appears much calmer and is, hI thiink, happier.She gets very nervous riding in the car, and this significantly reduces her whining and crying. I hope that over time, she'll learn to enjoy car rides that are less triggering for her.This has also reduced some of her destructive behavior. Before, she had chewed up 2 remote controls, a pair of glasses, countless shoes, and furniture. There is much less of this now.I only wished I had purchased one for her sooner.

Sinceramente pensé que no funcionaría, sólo le di la oportunidad porque mi veterinaria me lo recomendó. Le ayuda mucho a estar tranquilo cuando lo dejo solo. Con los turnos no funciona taaan bien, pero si le ayuda a tranquilizarlo un poco,es decir, ladra cuando escucha los truenos pero eventualmente se queda dormido, cosa que no pasa si no trae el chaleco.

This shirt is amazing!!! My dog would shake, pant and drool during thunder storms. This shirt is a miracle worker!!
