It arrived very nicely packaged. I got this for my granddaughters birthday and she loved it. She uses it on both her own hair, and on her “Ariel” hair styling head which the seashell seems to suit perfectly. My granddaughter has long, fine hair that easily tangles and knots. I can't comment for other hair types, but with her other hairbrushes she usually complains when her mom tries to get tangles out, but she did not make a peep when using this one on her morning bedhead hair. It also worked very well when her hair was wet. It fits very nicely in the palm of my hand, and my fingers fit nicely with the grooves in the shell shape, so it is very comfortable to hold. The colors are very pretty. It is a great gift for girls, especially if they are into mermaids like my granddaughter. This would make a perfect stocking stuffer...if her birthday wasn't already so close to Christmas, that's what I would have used it for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ not the best wet anti breakage brush I've tried, but the cutest *by Z***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2019* I bought this brush to use as a prop for photos, since I already have two "wet brush" hairbrushes, one with boar bristles for shine and one with just the regular wet brush bristles. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this seashell brush is not only just as cute as it looks in the pictures, but also a great brush for minimal breakage and detangling like the other brushes I've used. I overall do love it, but there are two small problems - occasionally, very damaged hair like my bleached hair will break, even using this brush, but that's just how damaged hair works in my experience and any brush has the potential to do that if you have damaged your hair and are brushing it quickly. Secondly, while I was able to get a good grip on the seashell part with my hand to brush my hair, hair extensions and wig with it, I did find that the bristles were not long enough with the shape of the seashell to comb through every layer of hair even when they were all tangle-free. For those reasons, I have given this item only four stars, but it is a great product overall, especially for shorter/thinner hair, or if you want an incredibly cute hairbrush that makes you feel like a mermaid if you use it in the bathtub (maybe that's just me?) ### ⭐⭐ Cute decoration, not a great hair brush. *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2019* My 9 yr old loves mermaids so I got her this, and she loves it but she can't brush her hair with it. This might be a good brush for a mermaid Barbie, but for any kid older than about a year old it's not going to be a great hairbrush. The bristles are very thin. My 7 year old can't use it either and her hair is thin. It's just a decoration and/or a doll brush.
