I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter, and it turned out to be a brilliant choice. She absolutely loves being creative, so I was confident this would be right up her street — especially as she’s done similar art projects before and really enjoyed them. From the moment she opened it, she was excited to get started. The kit has everything you need to dive straight in, which is great, and the metallic paints give such a lovely, eye-catching finish. She’s already created a couple of beautiful decorative stones that look genuinely impressive and well finished. What I love most is how absorbed she gets while working on them. She’s said she can completely lose herself in the artwork, which says a lot — it’s relaxing, engaging, and really satisfying to do. It’s been lovely to see her so focused and proud of what she’s made. Overall, this was a great hit and a really thoughtful creative gift. I’d happily recommend it to anyone buying for someone who enjoys arts and crafts or just wants a calming, creative activity that produces something special at the end.

4 rocks of a good size, 4 metallic paints and a handy guide to help you paint. The 4 paints can be mixed to make extra colours. The quality is very good.

Amazing starter kit suit ages 5 upwards. The paints are really pretty colours and suggested patterns fairly straight forward. Can use for stencilling on rocks too.

Arrived on time, a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, so not been used as yet. I did check the contents and read the booklet which advised using stones with no cracks, unfortunately 2 of the stones had cracks in them. Other than that it was ideal for my craft mad granddaughter.

This is so much fun for kids and adults and the paints are beautiful. It also comes with a book of painting ideas which was so helpful. I would recommend this for kids age 5+ all the way to adults of all ages.

The kit was cute and the paints were great --- colors were beautiful, especially the sparkly ones- the suggested color mixes worked too and were surprisingly nice--- but WOW the idea book was really fantastic- what clever easy ideas that make one's painted rock look like it was professionally done - learned some neat techniques. Almost worth it for the book itself (written by an artist)- though you would need the paint to do the designs- so glad it came in one kit. And rocks that were a good size (some more perfectly smooth I think they tried to get the best ones they could in the kit). They seem to be missing the color red but I think it was only used in one design and if you have other acrylic paint you could use I guess -so many other ideas did not really need the red though for the rest. Note - after you get done painting one side of a rock and it dries - we realized we could paint the other side - even with a totally different look! Twice the fun!
