Nespresso OriginalLine: Decaffeinato Intenso Capsules, 50 Count - ''NOT compatible with Vertuoline''

Since I didn't buy the only machine that works for good espresso with real crema because the flavor description put me off of the entire machine, I have to say I was wrong. Whatever the other flavor "notes" in this coffee, it is very simply the best espresso I've had in the US. This version says it has "subtle notes of cocoa and toasted cereals" while the decaf lungo is described as having "cereal notes" as well. It wasn't the perfect way to make me desire to taste them so I went thru 2 unsuccessful trials of other brands of machines just because of the description. FYI, regardless of the description, the espresso is just the best I've had and I'm sorry I had to go thru so many flops because the roast didn't sound appealing to me. Big mistake on my part. While no one knew at Amazon whether the Nespresso U D50 came with any samples and I had to buy these here - if you're in a real hurry you can order these really at the last minute and have them there the same day so for emergencies, this is a great deal. Otherwise, I've heard Nespresso is a cheaper source of pods. And incase you're tempted to ever use a "Nespresso compatible" pod, per Nespresso customer service, if anything goes wrong with your machine as a result, it will void your warranty.

Love the Nespresso Pixie size and convenience and the coffee capsules that go with. I had the capsules 2 days after I ordered them. Next time I'll order more packs at a time as they go fast. We only drink decaf espresso, and we love the richness of both decaf lungo and intenso. We find we can run the water through twice (one large cup and one small cup) to get more coffee per capsule without deteriorating the flavor. It's still a strong, rich espresso. We will be ordering from this vendor again, and I'd recommend it to any espresso lover.

I have always wanted to purchase an espresso/cappuccino machine. My kids and their friends are very sophisticated and love having gourmet and created meals created from scratch. This has challenged me to re-learn cooking and impressed by kids who think I have never been able to cook. The Nespresso Capsules are easy and come in varietyof differnt products. They are so easy to use and easy to clean up. I have them all and they are pretty good. I really like the decaffeinated capsules. When I was in Rome last October, I would always order a decaffeinated Cappuccino. These capsules are as good as the coffee I had in Italy, which is a pretty good compliment. If my kids like them, they have to be good.

I can't drink caffeinated coffee for health reasons. I really enjoy the taste of coffee and try many brands and blends. I am a bit of a coffee connoisseur. The decaf is weak...not much of a choice either from Nespresso. To get a really strong tasting cup of coffee you need to use two capsules. For all the work to clean the machine and the cost of two capsules per cup, I might as well walk across the street and have Starbucks make me one...no muss, no fuss! Much better to buy the refillable capsules and buy your own coffee. Also, for almost $300, most of the removable parts of the machine are made of plastic. The frother is very sensitive...don't get water anywhere near the bottom. I had mine a month and it had to be replaced. I just use a regular espresso machine and make my own coffee when I am too lazy to walk across the street to Starbucks.

I am a green tea drinker and was introduced to Nespresso capsules while in Siena, Italy. I was an immediate convert and ordered the machine and coffee as soon as I returned home. It is delicious. I now start my day with a bracing cup of this coffee and then enjoy my tea through the rest of the day. It's a great way to jump start your palette each morning.

Expensive but good coffee

I actually really like this coffee (I would give it a 5 star for the taste and ease of use). However, they are over-priced here. You can buy these from nespresso.com directly for $.65/capsule. You do pay shipping, but still comes out to less.

This is the best decaff capsule out there. The flabor is not too intense, not too weak. And I love it. It makes rhe perfect cup in my little Pixie Nespresso machine. Some say the price is too much, but I dont think it is. I drink 1 a day and at under a dollar a cup, its FAR less expensive than driving through a chain sstore and paying 5 bucks for something that I can make for under a dollar.

These capsules are fine and good if you want a coffee but need a decaff. Arrived quickly and would recommend. Quite expensive - orobably cheaper direct from Nespresso if you can get them.

I like my coffee strong, but when it comes to late in the evening I prefer decaffinated because I also like my sleep!

I love these coffee pods and the coffee they make in my new Nespresso machine. Thought perhaps decaffeinated coffee would be good for health ? So decided to try it out and keep it handy for some Decafe fan !!

The product is great but Can be bought a lot cheaper else where, better off to join the coffee club

Very misleading. I bought the capsules under the impression that they were Decaffeinato Lungo capsules as it is what was indicated first but ended up with Decaffeinato Intenso Capsules.
