Acupressure mat and Pillow/Acupuncture mat/Massage mat for Wellness, Relaxation and Tension Release

My husband and I love this mat! I went for this one because it was a slightly larger surface area than some others on there . I really believe all the reviews because we have had the same experience. Ive lied on the mat for two 20 min stints on night one and slept really well. Then I lay on it when I woke up and it felt pricklier than before, but maybe that's because I havent allowed enough time between. It still worked to release my relaxation hormones every time. Plus my back felt hot and went red, so my blood flow was definitely stimulated a lot. I am currently sat upright on the sofa, just using the pillow on my neck. It feels prickly, but deffo relaxing and satisfying. My neck is where I hold my tension. I will have to get a big head band to cover my ears though, because I keep getting a prick in the ear 🤭

I love this mat so much more than I expected! When you lie on it you feel waves of warmth and relaxation washing over you - it’s bliss. It’s not at all painful - in fact I can’t feel it at all if I wear a t-shirt so it’s bare skin only for me. Ten minutes on my lovely spiky mat and I feel rejuvenated. I also sleep really well after lying on it before bedtime. Tip: Listen to the brilliant GABA meditation podcast while lying on this mat and you’ll think you’ve died and gone to heaven. Can’t recommend this mat highly enough. I’m a bit obsessed!

I purchased this mat and pillow set in the hope it would help with my currently undiagnosed neck and back pain. Not wanting to spend too much money this seemed like a good option. The item arrived in the specified time and I'm happy with the quality. When it comes to pain relief I'd say it does help somewhat. I use the mat and pillow directly on the skin and don't find it too painful. Sitting up after laying on it for a duration of time is probably the toughest bit. I find it quite good for relaxation too, particularly just before sleeping. I generally use it laying down on the sofa or in bed. The pillow works fairly well in the neck area when sitting upright on the sofa too. My only criticism would be the size of the pillow. I find it a little too bold behind the neck. Additionally I have found it works well in the bath too. I recently had a very heavy cold so had added aches and pains and thought I'd give it go. It worked well, the mat and pillow have sponge inserts that are easily removable to wring out and then hang to dry.

I've never left a review before but have to for this acupressure mat because it is pure magic. I've suffered with major back problems since I was twelve (16 years ago), and wasn't actually diagnosed with scoliosis until I was around 22. I've had many physio appointments over the years, and none of them have done anything for me like the first 20 minutes on this mat. I got up from it walking better than I had in years, only to realise my right leg was almost the same length are my left again - which it hasn't been for around 10 years. After 3 more daily sessions on the mat (15 then 10 then 5 minutes) my legs are exactly the same length and there is no longer a curve at the bottom of my spine. I cannot express how amazing this product is, I thought I'd never be able to touch my toes again (totally nailed it yesterday). I currently use it on my bed with a t-shirt on. I lay my back on it, with my knees bent towards the ceiling then let them hang over the end of my bed until almost touching the floor. I keep changing between the two, tensing certain muscles until I feel little clicks in my back (this was it actually aligning properly again). I will carry on to use this daily for the rest of my life, only a few minutes necessary to make sure my spine doesn't decide to curve again. If you are thinking of buying one, do it! It's the best £30 I've ever spent.

I'm delighted I bought this Shakti mat, I was a bit sceptical before buying it that it would do much for my back pain but I am actually surprised at how much it helps. I think consistent use is key, even if it's for just 20 minutes every other day. A bit prickly when you lie down on it first, but it's nothing terrible and well worth it once your back starts warming up. I've actually fell asleep on it a few times. The mat is very good quality and came nicely presented with it's own little carry bag and instructions. I would definitely recommend it, thank you for the great product!

This type of mat is lovingly referred to as a Bed of Nails. So you might be thinking how can it be comfortable. I suggest the first few times wear a Tee & bottoms/shorts to get used to the feeling. Once you get into it & start feeling the benefits on body mind & spirit trust me you will use the word comfortable. I recently over-exerted myself in some yoga practice (having been away from it for some time) & suffered terrible pain in my muscles running down my spine, particularly between the shoulder blades. Little did I know that this mat would literally cure me! I lay on it for 5 mins then started to slowly roll up from my hips all the way to the base of my neck. I did this 1 x daily & lo & behold after the 2nd day I could feel the relief. I didn't even take pain killers (not my thing). There is even a pillow for added benefit. It's a keeper I will never be without one.

Helps alleviate stiff neck, shoulder and L5 disc trouble and pain. Brings a flood of blood to the tender areas which also encourages a heavy sleep to follow. Very impressed with the product. May need to order another as it’s in demand.

It was a gift but the recipient didn’t want it that is why it was returned. I am not sure how it work so will not be able to say I am afraid that is why I am giving three stars at least for their customer service. It’s worth trying.
