Simone PereleWomen's Muse Triangle Plunge

I already had several of these bras from other online retailers and local brick-and-mortar stores. I was surprised to open the box and find nothing protecting the bra. There was no protective plastic cover or bag, nor was there padding inside the molded, lined cups. The foam of one of the cups is rippled beneath the outer fabric. The four Simone Perele Muse Triangle Plunge Bras I bought at other places have smooth foam in both cups. Though the amazon.com page where I bought this one says it's sold by Simone Perele, I now believe that may not be true.

This is a really good solution bra for my particular purposes--many plunges are hard for me to wear and this one does the trick in the end. However, be forewarned that the cups are proportionally VERY tall and wide compared to depth. In other words the cups are really shallow--I had to size up a full cup size to get adequate containment without overflowing at the center after a few minutes. Again, it works, and looks perfect under a low-cut top, but it's oddly high-coverage vertically, so it looks like "a lot of bra."

Simone Perele bras fit a little differently than normal bras. I was fitted at a lingerie store and the saleswoman explained that you have to go down a band size and up a cup size. I'm a 38B in regular bras, but a 36C in Simone Perele bras. Once you have the right fit, the bra is wonderful. I don't notice it at all during the day and it doesn't accentuate my back fat like other bras do. It's worth the price, but watch for the bra to go on sale!

I'm sure it would be fine if amazon had just copied and pasted the description of the bra from the website onto here but they didn't. You have to go down a cup size at least. I got a 30 F (DDD) which is the same size as my strapless bra from them and it was huge. They also don't make this as a push up bra over a C so if you're wanting one, it's not this bra. If you're going to spend the $80, look on the Simone Perele website first.

The fit was off and was way bigger than expected. I ordered a 32E and it fits like an 32F.
