I live in a co-op apartment building and the shareholders are supposed to receive fiscal year financial statements, a requirement covered under our beloved by-laws, so it helps to have some knowledge of financial accounting to be able to understand these statements. Even if you may think you aren't good at accounting, you will be surprised at how much you can learn.

Great Textbook
I have not taken an accounting class in 5 years and when I started back at school I had 3 accounting classes transfer and went straight to Accounting II. I had trouble learning the material especially after having a small stroke. I got this textbook and worked through it. It went through the material that was covered in the classes that I did not remember plus the material in my current class. I worked on this textbook and my class and it really helped pass my class!

Extremely helpful for beginners
I purchased and read this book a few years ago. It does a good job explaining financial statements. I live in a co-op apartment building and the shareholders are supposed to receive fiscal year financial statements, a requirement covered under our beloved by-laws, so it helps to have some knowledge of financial accounting to be able to understand these statements. Even if you may think you aren't good at accounting, you will be surprised at how much you can learn.

Great Support Tool for Grad Students
This was a book recommended by my professor which is how I found out about this series. These are a great supplement to actual courses to help refresh your memory, for those versed in business, or a good introductory material for grad school students. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for undergraduates unless they are an upperclassmen, simply because some of the language implies a foundation of knowledge before piling it on.

Great practice material.
I have enjoyed this book. Really like how it covers the basics with step by step explanations. Love the questions with answers to test your knowledge. Some of the material is a bit dated (Extraordinary Items).

英語で会計（初歩）を勉強してみようと思い購入しました。 読み進むのが遅くてなかなか前に進みませんが、例題、演習も 多く最後まで読めば実力が付くと思います。 このシリーズに限らないかも知れませんが、洋書の学習書は 学習者の知識の定着のための説明、演習が充実しています。

Very good and helpful
The huge list of exercises is very useful and helpful when preparing my classes and list of exercises. They are straight to the point that my students need to learn.
