I would give him it twice a day as a preventative. Young at heart will not work properly if you give your dog medicine such as cardisure and fortekor. He is also sleeping much better and sleeping through the night. It is a pricey product, but I a, also trying out a human version that is a quarter of the price that people also say they give to their dog. Our 'Large Canine' 4 oz bottles are the exact same formulation found in our 2 oz bottles, which are for both cats and dogs; there is no difference in potency, ingredients, or dosing.  Being that many owners of small dogs and/or cats find it more convenient (and economical!) to order the 4 oz bottle, we are presently in the process of changing the label from 'Large Canine' to 'Value Size' to make it more clear for our customers.
