We use both timers a minimum of 10 hrs a day 5 days a week for 3 weeks now and they haven't skipped a beat. The original batteries we installed are still going and the beep is loud enough to be heard over our practice, the numbers can be seen when we're away from the bench. Only one drawback, not enough adhesive on the magnets, they fell off on the first use.Update, after my initial review the beeper on one of the timers stopped working. We just bought another set because of the price and now we have a spare.

Got these for a training where we need to limit sharing time; the old timer we were using was a little too quiet for a large room / large circle.Pretty simple (count up / count down) with no other functions, which is great, makes it easy to use. Display is large, and alarm is plenty loud for us.A little flimsy (but with two for the price of most other devices, that's not an issue). I like the on/off switch to preserve battery life. I like the orange color (makes it harder to lose track of). And using AAA batteries is less expensive than flat style batteries.

Given the price, I was skeptical, but these timers are very nice, super easy to use, and the bright orange is cheery. I don't find the beep too loud, as a few reviewers did. Why four stars instead of five? Because about ten minutes after I attached one of the timers to the side of my stove, it fell off, leaving the magnet stuck to the stove. Fortunately the timer fell onto the counter, not the floor, and a dab of glue fixed the problem.

The actual timer part is exactly what I needed: easy to use a large display, and loud. There's also a built-in stand if you have counterspace. It's durable and easy to clean.The only downside is that the magnet isn't glued very well to the unit. It stuck to my fridge for a few hours and then the whole timer fell off of the magnet with a mighty crash. To its credit, the timer still worked. A few drops of superglue solved the problem.

What was weird was that looking for timers on Amazon, so many of them come in multi-packs.I've been doing PT and wanted to keep track of things at home, so I needed a simple count down timer. I only needed one, but for some reason those were the same price as two. So not I have a timer for the kitchen and for the gym!

use these regularly for cooking at first I kept them on the fridge but a few days later they fell off and it became obvious the adhesive used to hold the magnet on had failed. Magnet failure is far from the end of the world still very serviceable use both multiple times 3-4 nights a week making dinner with out issue

I bought these for my kids who had homework and other things to time. They love them, and they are more excited about doing homework and everything when they get to set and use their timers.Good simple timers. Would give them 5 stars but they beep every time you hit a button even when setting the timer which drives the wife crazy and makes me a little dissatisfied, otherwise 5 stars.

It would be nice if it came with a cord to hang it from one's neck or if the stand dual functioned as a clip to make it more mobile. If you put it in your pocket the time gets changed or stopped.
