Superior Bang for your buck
Excellent product at a good price point. Company stands behind their product. As a 30 year bricklayer, I've seen a few levels. Accurate & durable, you can expect to have and use this for life.

Great level
I needed an 18 inch level for building bases for cabinets on a pier and beam (very unlevel) floor. This level is very accurate and easy to read. My cabinets are perfectly level.

A properly good tool
This is genuine, old-school quality. This level is solid, accurate, and very easy to read. Much, much better than the ones in your local hardware store.

These are the best levels. I have been using the same ones for over 40 years.

Nice Level - Finish grinding could be better
The 18 inch size is handy. This is an old school level with 6 curved vials - not uni-vials - so you need to read it from the side (no top reading peep hole. On first use it appears to be very accurate. But to balance the other glowing reviews out - the finishing of the surfaces could be better. The factory grinding left a series of ridges - painted over with a red coating. You can see and feel these ridges. While the level is fit for purpose - it is not anywhere close to a precision ground machinist's level. But to be fair a Starrett 18 inch machinist level would cost 10X as much.

Simply the best
Accurate, solid as a rock, and still made in the USA. Didn't know these levels were still available.

Best ever
My old Sands levels were over 30 years old but someone absconded with my 4' and I used my 24" to pry out a bumper on my old Chevy so...They could detect a the difference of a sheet of paper in 48". So bought a new set, best level you can buy, 'Sands levels, Tell The Truth'
