I bought it for a sleek, minimalist, organized way to travel with my essential items(wallet, keys, gum, phone, charging cords, etc)… what surprised me was the larger pocket was actually big enough to hold some smaller snacks! Everything is close to your body and east to one hand open zippers of hands are full. The material is so sturdy and well made. It even has a little strip of material on the strap to latch your sunglasses. The ONLY CON- the large pocket has a cloth divider in it that only came halfway up in the inside, so it was a real pain trying to stick my big passport wallet down in there… it kept getting caught on that divider. I finally grabbed scissors and cut the cloth divider out. It just wasn’t necessary and was creating a lot of frustration for me. Problem solved, but they should read this and do away with that extra piece of material. Otherwise I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. I am a small framed woman and this bag does not have the ability to fit as close to my body as I would like. In the many pictures in the ad you can see people with it very close to their body. I am like a women's extra small size and while I love the idea of this bag and I will use it I wish it had the ability to adjust the strap so it could be very close to my body. and no I'm not going to put on weight just so it will fit snug. The strap at its shortest is 36 inches The strap at its longest is 50 inches The bag across the top from strap hook to strap hook is 12 in.
