Great product but needs a few things
I was surprised and pleased with durability and hue of the pigments and the size of the product for the price. However, two things could have been included, to improve the kit: A large illustrated instruction sheet instead of tiny pictures and bottle of fixative, even a sample size bottle would help. Otherwise, a worthy purchase.

Get a good fixer.
The pigments them selves are good. Vallejo’s fixer is a bit hit and miss tho.

Great for weathering effects
I'm using this pigment to help create weathering effects on miniature wargaming terrain, and it has really helped to bring my scenery techniques to the next level. It's easy and fast to apply.Make sure you use it in a well ventilated area, and put a mask on as well, because the pigment particles are very fine and will hang in the air all aroun. You, and your pets, don't want to breathe those in.I apply it with a cheap makeup brush, and build up the effect with multiple passes until I'm happy with the colouring.I've had a lot of fun with the whole Vallejo pigmenta range so far, and I'm looking forward to using them more in the future. By the looks of how little I've used as far, they will last for many years of modelling.

no packaging
These four bottles came without the plastic/cardboard packaging on the picture. I can't tell whether or not they've been opened. I also think they gave me the wrong brochure, because the one I got was for model wash, whereas I ordered the Vallejo pigments.
