The packaging and virtually everything is five stars. The height varies depending which section is measured. Eight inches to just over nine inches in height. The construction seems to be as good as mattresses costing possibly five times as much? The comfort is equal to anything slept on in the past. Totally different feel. For this person, it is superior because there is no feeling. You lie or sit on it and it is just there. It may be, imagination but I seem to experience sleep quality that is better and longer. My hair tells me I toss and turn very few times. It is isn't firm or soft. Just there. I wont comment on sitting on the side of the bed with feet on the floor. It would be unreasonable to expect to have the same characteristics as a non expanding mattress with steel to hold it up. It is better to not sit on the side of any bed mattress. The instructions mention odor but none with mine. The mattress is not visible but if it were I find it attractive.Not having the separate box spring allows for the high frame, the mattress sits on. It allows for a lot more storage underneath while having the bed lower. Both are plusses. My purchase was based upon hundreds of reviews. None of the positive reviews meant much because Amazon puts reviews with the wrong model. A twin, full, queen, king, California king are each different but there is no discipline for reviewers to state exactly what he or she is reviewing? My thinking is inclined towards feeling the mattress is an outstanding value, based upon two things. I worked in polyethylene foam extrusion. In that instance height quality control was feasible. Bed Story explained that their long term experience is the height is expected but not conducive to long term comfort or durability.Two months of use has been two months of quality.

As such, I have decided to give a try.Unexpectedly, I am glad that I have purchased this mattress that not just only cures my pains, but also helps me to make my bed the coziest place on earth.If you are looking for a firm and soft mattress, this is for you!It was delivered rolled up, I couldn't believe that I would get a good firm spring mattress out of it, but I definitely did. I carefully cut the wrapping and it popped out instantly, I let it "breathe and rise" on the living room floor for 48 hrs. I also ordered the elite bed frame. I did sleep elsewhere for the first night but probably could have slept on it.If you have bad back issues, or trouble sleeping this bed is for you! It may be a bit of an adjustment at first, but wait a few days you will feel great! Now every part of my spine is firmly supported, and zero pain anywhere, wake up feeling refreshed.I LOVE THIS BED!!!!!!

I was moving temporarily for a job and needed to buy a comfortable mattress for my rental. I am very picky when it comes to comfort as I easily wake up with a sore back. After all my research on cool gels and memory foam materials I was convinced that Latex is a better product and coupled with springs the comfort is supported by something more solid. The reviews helped as well to pick this product not to mention that it shipped in a box that I was able to handle. The mattress arrived just in time, after 2 days I already slept on it and it felt very similar to an expensive 14 + inch mattress that we use at my permanent home. It has been over a month now and I don't ever wake up with a sore back. I feel comfortable, it is soft but not too soft and it supports my back. It feels like our medium firm mattress that I like. There is no odor, I have the mattress in a protective waterproof cover and also bough a nice plush mattress cover. Obviously I like to protect my mattresses. Hopefully, I will have the same great review in a year of this mattress.

first of all, I find this to be a very really good mattress with its price. it's really fun to watch it instantaneously expand after cutting the wrapping plastics. It rose to about 10 inches right away. I waited 48 hours to sleep on it so it could expand to its full.It's slightly firm, but not too much. It's perfect for my back with herniated discs. I use it on a platform (no box spring) and topped with a 2" memory foam mattress topper. It's perfect and I am so glad I don't have to deal with the traditional store setting that is equipped with a commissioned sales force. The quality of this mattress is truly better than most of the expensive mattresses I bought before. It's way more comfortable than the memory foam bed and spring mattress I had before, even my parents love it , I would definitely highly recommend it to anyone who likes a firm and soft mattress.

I researched 100's of mattress reviews before ordering this one. I'm happy with it, so far." Why do I say "so far?" Because I was happy with my previous mattress for the first two years - then it quickly sagged so badly it had to be replaced, which made it a waste of money. If this one lasts even five years I'll be satisfied. But from it's feel, I doubt it. ONE MIGHT WISH TO INVEST IN A MATTRESS FROM A MAJOR BRICKS & MORTAR RETAILER THAT OFFERS A GENUINE WARRANTEE AND WILL DELIVER AND SET-UP. - On the plus side, it aired out enough for my very sensitive nose within 3-days. It is not close to firm or medium firm. I weigh only 170# but when I sit on the edge to put my shoes on, it craters. So, from what I read and what I've experienced in the past, it seems a good value. - NOTE: IT'S HEAVY! TWO ADULTS STRUGGLED TO GET IT IN PLACE.THE BIGGEST DETRACTION WAS IT TOOK SIX WEEKS FOR IT TO BE DELIVERED - and that was after complaining with no legitimate reason given for it tardiness, several times!

I have been struggling with a sore back for a long time. My new mattress was too soft. After having done some research for something firmer, I decided to try this BedStory. It is fabulous. I've only slept on it for one night and my back is less sore already. If you need something firm with a soft top, this is a great mattress.

Zunächst muss ich sagen, dass das Produktbild nichts mit dem Topper zu tun hat. Es ist irreführend.Zweitens war die Knickkante des Toppers fast 1 Woche lang zu sehen.Drittens ist der Topper nicht kastig, also mit klaren Kanten produziert, sondern mit weichen "Kanten", so dass er deutlich sichtbar ist, wenn man ihn auf die Matratze legt.Viertens ist der Topper maximal 4,5 cm hoch, bringt also nicht die erhoffte Erholung.Nur die umständliche Rücksendung hat mich von einer Retoure abgehalten. Da ich ihn für das Gästebett nutze, muss ich selbst nicht darunter "leiden", wohl aber meine Gäste...
