Review: Great quality for price after 3 years of use - I’m 3.5 years in and use it weekly. So far it’s been a great product especially for the price. We are really into soups, roast, and I bake bread a lot. This thing is amazing and a great quality. It’s easy to clean, does great in the oven, and stands up great to constant use. I only have a small amount of staining at the bottom, and a couple scratches from metal utensils. The lid is solid and the handle is really secure still, which is a problem I’ve had with other brands I’ve tried.

I have not had the chance to bake yet, but seeing how evenly it held heat while cooking, I am thinking this will be perfect. I bought the red color. It gives a nice pop of color in my kitchen. This pot will probably last me a long time. I would buy one if I needed a replacement, or a gift for someone.

**Q: What country is this enameled cast iron 6-qt made**
A: Since when can you put cast iron or enamel in a microwave? Unless you have a dual microwave I wouldn’t suggest doing it. Js

**Q: Is the enamel used cadmium and lead free?**
A: I'm not sure but it's super thin enamel. Poor quality. Go with Lodge.

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: I don't think there are any enamel plants in the US - perhaps in France?  Any company would be better than China.  I just don't trust Chinese manufacture of anything that touches my food - they have proven time and again that they do not care one whit about human lives or health.

**Q: Can this be used for no kneed bread cooked at 450 degrees?**
A: I use mine at 450 and so far works fine. I make bread 2 times a week. I’ve owned the Dutch oven for 2 months now. The knob is metal on mine.
