I was a little skeptical of how well this would work, but it exceeded my expectations. Works well. Autofocus is fast. No issues so far!

I wanted to buy the Fringer adapter but was told it’s no longer available and the store sold me the almost-the-same Steelsring one instead. The only difference, according to the store, is that the Steelsring adapter doesn’t have a tripod ring on it. They’re even from the same Chinese factory. I got the Steelsring one but initially it didn’t work. It didn’t auto focus and it didn’t recognize the aperture of the lenses. After I asked to return the adapter, the store had the factory send me the updated firmware which makes the adapter work properly now. The autofocus is not fast and not always precise but it does work 80-90% of the time, under ambient light. The aperture has to be set on the camera rather than by turning the aperture ring on the lenses but it’s okay for me. If you want to use the contax 645 lenses on the gfx camera it’s the only choice. The lens side and the camera side do both fit perfectly.

Adapter is great but focus not always reliable and in single point focus can't always lock on.
