It’s thin (which I like) but warm, with a soft cotton lining. It’s breathable, and looks great. I’m 6’ 2” 205 pounds, with a long torso, and it sits right at my waist. My favorite part is that you can remove the hood by unzipping it, which I think dresses it up more for everyday use. They should hand these out to anyone moving to Seattle. Let me first say, I liked this jacket a lot. Blue color - classy. Materials are top notch - the waterproof fabric (which is indeed waterproof), the zippers and the snaps all are well-attached and have a nice high-end aesthetic to them. THE HOOD IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE TWO SOFT VELCRO SIDES. Did I say they loudly enough? Those two flaps feed into the neckline and attach to the Velcro inside, creating a very clean, hidden look up top. There is ample pocket space in the sufficient amount of pockets, internal and external. The inside lining is nice, warm and fleece.I returned, however. 1) Mine was HUGE. I'm a little chesty (stocky; I used to work out a good bit), 5'7" 185lbs. My Medium fit like a large, uh, Large. Maybe not quite XL, but bigger than even a Large should've, imo. I should've gotten a Small (SM). I ordered another, similar jacket in Large, and it fit correctly - smaller than this Medium. This is my only complaint.2) it's very warm. For my needs, too warm. The heavier, Goretex-feeling material plus that fleece lining is great, but not what I need for an upcoming trip.

This jacket seems to be super nice quality, is water resistant as advertised. I normally wear a large in EVERYTHING, and after reading the reviews I went to an XL. It fits perfectly, and I could definitely get a heavier shirt underneath of it. If your tall like me, you’ll want the extra length. I’m 6ft 4in tall, and weigh 210lb with an athletic build. I definitely recommend this jacket.Edit update: this jacket was awesome! I drug it through Bavarian Alps and the Austrian Alps In rain, snow, a downpour at Oktoberfest, and it kept me bone dry. My friends have way more expensive rain jackets from a big box active store that cost tons more than mine, and this rain jacket looked as good if not better for a fraction of the price. Highly recommend, and definitely get one size bigger for layering. Plus it kept me super warm in weather in bare minimum 30 degrees with a t shirt underneath only. Worth every penny and then some.

Was looking for something with just a little bit of weight to it, not the ultra light fabric shells and nothing bulky either.Specifically needed it for light rain and wind (I live in Washington and it is often sprinkling with a mild to moderate breeze).This jacket is perfect. It is light enough that you can throw it on and even if you don't need it, it won't overheat you. I wouldn't use it for actual cold or heavy rain, but it will take the edge off of the elements to keep you a stable level of comfort. I also very much like the velcro wrist bands so that I can push the sleeves up my arms.I saw people say it ran a little large. I usually wear a large, sometimes a medium so I ordered a M, it is ALMOST too big for my frame, so I would definitely recommend to go a down a size from what you normally wear.

Ordered for my 15 year old son. He has as yet to use on rainy day so can not yet discuss the waterproofing.However he is 5'9" with a 30" waist. I ordered a small and medium. We ended up keeping the medium. The arms have some bunching at ends but figure he is still growing. Goes passed is waist line in length.Looks durable. I used to sell high-end outdoor apparel so am rather picky when comes to outerwear. The fabric feels very nice and durable. It is a nice looking jacket.The zipper flap being backwards that is commented on in other reviews is correct on this coat. Maybe this was corrected.I do not feel any seam sealing except at the pockets so am anxious to see how will do on a wet day. But am going with other reviewers that say it has waterproof properties.It has a very light fleece lining in body of jacket but not sleeves.There are no pit zips but there is a flap at shoulder blades for venting.Hood is removable.Will be interested to see how does on rainy days.

I was looking for a light weight jacket that had a lining,not necessarily a rain jacket, that was compact enough to fit comfortably into a back pack .This jacket according to the reviews foot the bill,the sizing was my only issue because there sizing chart made no sense to me,i am 5ft 6 inches tall and have a 40 inch chest,according to there size chart i would ware a small,i ignored the chart and went with the reviews saying the jacket runs small,i purchased a large and the large fit me perfect.The jacket appears to be very well made,very soft material on the outside and a very soft fleece type material on the inside,three pockets on the outside and one pocket on the inside very nicely placed,the hood is very nice as it zips on or off,also the jacket i received did not have the same labels as the one pictured and the front zipper is on the correct side for a mans jacket,i am very happy with this jacket ,it is well worth the price of $40 and it looks very sharp.

best $40 i've ever spent!! i especially like the velcro-adjustable wrist straps that allow me to lock the wrist cuffs before or over my watch. it fits and looks great. it may not have the best breathability, but it'll keep you dry and warm. On a cold, windy, and rainy day, I wore a regular cotton shirt underneath this jacket and it kept me plenty warm.

Similar ones are almost double price in high streets. I am so glad to find this jacket for this price and for all the benefits it came with.Its a super rain coat, my pant and trainers were soaked but didn't have any wet feeling in the body at all. It has wonderful wind protection at the same time somewhat breathable, so I didn't feel so sweaty.It is designed really intelligently, especially the zips, its nicely hidden and protected so water can not sneak through.The hoodie is detachable too.However, I wished they had a smaller hand size, 19 inch is a bit longer for my hand, I am 5 ft 6 inch tall.Also, the hoodie is just the right size, but it would be better to have it a bit longer.The jacket can be folded to a very small size and its not fluffy at all.So it came with all the benefit the big brand has, only with a cheaper price tag.

I am very satisfied with this jacket. The weather in the UK is really too bad. The material of this windproof jacket is really practical for the weather in the UK. The design is simple and elegant, the color of the lining and the color outside, the color tone is coordinated.Very waterproof, keeps me dry on rainy days.The back is ventilated with a soft mesh to breathe and dissipate heat during movement.The inner fleece lining is soft to the touch and keeps warm in cold weather.The hood is also very comfortable to wear and it's easy to turn your head when it is on too. Each pocket has a zip which is waterproof also.Nice product.

Diamond Candy Jacket arrived as expected. I ordered 1 size larger and it fits perfect! I am 6 feet 1 inch and 230 lbs. Coat fits great and sleeves do not feel too short. Hood is detachable by zipper and I’ll be taking that off! Great jacket for a great price. As long as you don’t pay $109 for it. Quite happy with this purchase. I should also mention that I ordered XXL as I usually go with XL for fit.UPDATE: I just noticed while unzipping the hood from the jacket that the Velcro patches on the flaps are the same!! They are both receiver pads and they won’t stick to each other! LOL! There is no way to close the front of the hood over, if you were to use the hood!Update: I contacted Diamond Candy via Amazon.ca and the response was prompt. They offered me another jacket but we came to the resolution that they would refund me 20% of my purchase price and I could get the hood closure velcro fixed on my own, which I have accepted. Very satisfied with this purchase and very happy with the contact with this company. Thank you.

I needed a jacket for the “wonderful British weather”. I had this one for 6 months now and wore the entire autumn some days in winter and the spring. It is perfect. Not even one drop passes. However, it won’t keep you warm is quite a fancy plastic on you :). This jacket was made to keep you protected from wind/rain not to keep you warm but it’s look very cool.

My chest measures 112 cm or 44 inches so going by the sizing chart I went for the XL thinking there would be room to spare....Wrong! way to small very tight and I even doubt the XXL would have left much room either, having read other reviews I felt confident I had the right size, the only other reason for such a tight fit was a wrong label!
