It makes short work of the light frost that builds up on your car windows overnight in freezing weather. If it snows, or there's a freezing rain you need to use this in combination with a heavier toothed scraper to break up and get rid of the heavy accumulations. Then come along behind with this one to clean off the lighter residue and those pesky lines left behind by the larger one. When you're done your windows will be as clean and clear as if the car had been in the garage overnight.Brass is softer than glass and this shouldn't scratch.
