Needs grinding to fit Lowes Freedom fence
Thanks have had no issue with wind, they feel sturdy, but I did have to grind the slot for each rail of the Freedom style vinyl fence I bought from Lowes. Otherwise, works fine.

Great way to extend a fence/gate across a concrete drive.
Instructions were very clear and once in place the brackets were very sturdy. Only recommendation is to add to the instructions that any gate hinges you plan to add to the vinyl posts should be added before you fill the posts with concrete as indicated in the instructions. The metal in these brackets is much harder than the aluminum stiffener inserts available for 5β vinyl fence posts and are especially difficult to drill holes through in combo with reinforced concrete. Do any mounting and add concrete last. Posts are rock solid when mounted with these and support a 6β vinyl gate (one on each side of a 12β opening) with no problem. Added a cable from the gate post to an anchoring wall through the fence run as part of my design to prevent lean or sag long term but with these mounts that is probably overkill. Great product.

Good but get proper anchors
I am a fence contractor and thought I would give these a try for a current job. They worked well for this application. 4 stars because the sidewalks could stand to be just a little heavier steel in my opinion. Plus, all the fasteners that come with it are only zinc plated, NOT RATED FOR LONG TERM EXTERIOR EXPOSURE. Go get ya some galvanized parts. Easy cure, galvanized rod and anchor epoxy. Will use these again.

Flimsy
Easy install ,but seriously weak and flimsy .If using for a gate and secured to concrete this method and product is not the way to go.Placed the PVC sleeve over it at a height of 5β the unit measures 4 foot .only 2 side steel. Once installed it sways from side to side depending on the gate weight Bolted to concrete as indicated still sways somewhat .Gate weight only 30 lbs and the gate is pulling down at least 1/2β making the post out of plum .Cannot recommend for this type application

These post tower mounts are amazing and versatile
These post tower mounts are amazing and versatile. I have an underground power line running parallel with my fence line and could not dig conventional post holes. I bought and attached four six inch galvanized bolts to the bottom plate in the pre-drilled holes and dug a 12" hole and filled with 75 pounds of concrete and set the post towers into the cement level with the base. I cut off the 9 foot vinyl fence posts to six feet and they slid over the towers and the fence is extremely sturdy. Not how they were advertised but this item allowed flexibility of use. Great invention!

Works like a charm!
Being the owner of a fence company here in S Florida, sometimes you need a mount that's durable when you can't either dig or core drill a hole for the fence posts and these are the ticket. The 4' height easily secures a 6' high fence post (PVC).

Really Easy to Install
Installation was easy and the post is very rigid and durable. Perfect for use on a patio or other concrete pad.
