Alpha Lipoic Acid

Seemed to work but the price went from $25 to $40 since the last time I bought it, and other brands are still about $25 for this quantity and dose. Will not be ordering again.

I take 600 mg per day but divided into 2-300 mg doses, so this is a bit over the top for me. However, I'm giving it a try and so far, so good. I'm taking in the morning with the rest of the stack. So far, no issues or side effects. It's easy enough to swallow and has no flavor or smell. Pill size is a little larger than I'm used to, but to be expected with such a high dose. Overall and so far, I consider this to be an excellent value and something that I will consider a permanent place in my stack so long as my current positive trend continues.

Very good no silicone dioxide

Back in August of last year, the top of my right foot was severely sunburned while on vacation. So...I lived and my foot recovered, however, there must have been some nerve damage due to the burn. That is the only thing I can attribute the burning sensation I would get on the top, inside of my right foot. Even the doctor agreed with me that a type of neuropathy occurred due to the sunburn. During my research, I came across Alpha Lipoic Acid and discussed this with my physician. Upon his advice of 'try is, it certainly wouldn't hurt', I ordered this from Superior Labs and received it 2/08/15 and have been taking it since. I take one in the am and two at night when I go to bed. It has now been 3 weeks and although I'm still have periodic episodes of the burning sensation, it has lessened greatly from the every day pain I as having before. No, it has not gone away completely, but I've only had 3 episodes in the last week and the pain is not as severe as it has been. So, I cannot say 'I love it' yet.....I'm definitely in the "I like it" stage and am looking forward to even more improvement.

Used this product for well over 2 years now, along with Blood Sugar 365. These two have helped control blood sugar levels without becoming a full diabetic. Actually lowered my A1C from 6.0 to 5.7

I switched to this brand not only because it's highly rated, but mainly because NOW brand uses #1 plastic to bottle this particular supplement. Number 1 plastic cannot be recycled unless it is completely clear. I have brought this to their attention. Superior Labs, however, uses number 2 plastic, which does not need to be clear and can be recycled.

This is the best value I've ever seen for Alpha Lipoic Acid. It arrived with a good expiration date (8/31/2018), and it was produced in a GMP facility, which sets standards for product quality. By the way, I like the label too. It has a simple, black and white label, which I find attractive. A couple of minor criticisms: I wish Superior would state on the label which lab produced the product. I also don't like the fact that it is produced without magnesium stearic. Magnesium is a safe ingredient which ensures that ingredients are blended together in the proper proportion. The claim that magnesium stearic is toxic is false. The claim is based on a small, 26 year old study, which used a different form of stearic than that which is used in supplements and medicines.
