I have been using these butter keepers since since the 1980s- hard to find back then and after having several, I could not find one again and forgot about it for 10 years. Then this came out on Amazon and it is excellent quality! The only difference from the original is you get designer choices in colors and patterns now and includes a water line on the inside of the bottom so you don't overfill it. I never had that before and found this very convenient from the guessing and spilling of the old models. It worked perfectly! Spreading butter is so much easier and it keeps outside the refrigerator for at least 2 weeks since no air can get to the butter. Great idea and now great choices to match your decor.

I previously owned a different design of this brand's butter bell, and it lasted many years until my cats knocked it over. This is solid, well made, easy to clean, and has a fun design. Highly recommended!

This is a great container to keep soft butter ready to use and not have a mess all over the counter. It’s a cute little container and easy to use. It can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Love it! Would recommend.

Like: The Butter Keeper Crock really looks great. The butter stays spreadable and it looks great on the table. It has a great size for Sunday morning breakfasts for the whole family.Possible improvements: Adding a short description to the product how to use would be useful especially when the crock gets more empty that you have to use more water. As I am the only one eating butter in my household the crock could be smaller.Dislikes: When it is very hot the butter will slide in the water so never keep it in the direct sun.

This is the perfect little gift!! I purchased after visiting family and they had one. These things are amazing! Just remember to swap out water every few days and all is good. The butter is easy to spread and the right temperature. This little crock adds a little flair to your countertop while being purposeful at the same time.

The container is so cute and its the perfect size. It's easy to clean and keeps the butter soft. There is no fill line for the water so that would be a little helpful, but not that big of a deal.

This product is adorable and functional! Before this I was putting butter on my bagels and putting them back into the toaster to melt and it would sometimes make a mess. This product makes the butter super smooth and easy to spread.
