Indian Handmade Twin Cotton Kantha Quilt Throw Blanket Gudari Vintage Throw Bedspread (Floral)

I would so love to give these 5 stars, but I cannot. Threads broken that make up the “quilting”, not enough to be a huge issue for me but not ideal. But I loved the 1st one enough to order 3 more. It is not pieced like some I have but this is a good thing for my use-on the porch. I live in the South and after being out in the yard or on the lake all day I get chilled after dark, especially if there is a breeze. These light blankets are perfect to wrap up in because they are so light.I chose this color pattern because if, oops, the get left out no noticeable staining from mildew. Which brings me to a “heads up” suggestion, use a *color catcher* the first couple of times in the wash, these blankets bleed dye like crazy. I also recommend that you wash with white vinegar, it helps set the color and soften the cotton even more.My blankets shipped from India but the seller, V Vedant Designs, got them to me so quickly! I ordered (my most recent) on 6/28 and received on 7/3. Extremely impressed! They have been laundered and are awaiting a few guests for a small birthday celebration for my husband and the USA tomorrow.For those thinking about color the turquoise really pops. You definitely see the other colors but if you will be using this with a neutral color scheme it will be the color that you most notice.

This is a decent bro for the money. I ordered the black but the reverse side is charcoal. I wish they were more photos of it opened. I did not care for it once I saw the full pattern. Call shell the return label says Walmart.

Clolor is now vivid. Matted color. I kept anyway ... l just wish the color was like the picture.

Definitely not what I expected. This is not, by any stretch of the word a 'quilt'. I will be returning.
