Perfect on my extension cord
Unlike most others it seems, I am NOT using this protector on my truck cord. Yes, I do own a new 2024 Ram 3500 with a Cummins HO engine, however, that is not why I needed this product. I have an outdoor golf cage where I am using a junction box to power an overhead light as well as a projector. I have an Amazon Basics extension cord (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OS7ETIA?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) plugged into the junction box that in turn gets plugged into the house. I wanted to ensure that the extension cord is also waterproof, and this little plug/protector works perfectly. The fit is tight and precise & I have zero worries about water leaking in.

Exact Fit.
Got this to cover and protect the Block Heater Plug on my JD Gator. It fit really tight so that it stays on and keeps the mud off the plug. I thought it was a bit on the expensive side, but if it keeps the plug from becoming mud covered and then have the mud freeze, I guess it will be worth it.

Cover it up!
I use this to cover the end of the extension cord that is attached to my 20 year old trucks block heater. It's been on for about a month and keeps the grit, rain, snow and road dirt off the plug. Yeah it's pricey for one item BUT it stays where you put it and fits snugly. Recommend.

Only fits the smallest of 3 prong plugs
This will not fit the block heater plug on any of my vehicles. It will fit the light gauge extension cord, but I cannot imagine why I would want this on it. I finally put this on a couple of outdoor Christmas lights that I leave up rather than crawl on the roof to take down. They will work there. Plastic, including the extended part that hooks around the cord and holds the cap when removed from the plug. All of this seems flimsy, and I would not count on it lasting for long.
