Dr. Martens Women's Rometty Fashion Boot | Casual Boots

Love, love, LOVE these boots! I've always wanted a pair and am happy with them now that I finally have them. Totally did not realize they were steel-toe boots when I bought them (they were on sale for 30% off!) so that was a nice bonus to discover when I tried them on the first time. They're snug around the ankle, easy to get on and off, stylish and sturdy, AND I get an extra three inches of height too! Two complaints. First is that the fit is a little loose (I'm a size 7 and ordered a size 7), but wearing a pair of thick socks, or two pairs of thin socks, makes them fit perfectly. Not a big deal considering they're my fall/winter boots for work, and I intended on wearing thick socks with them anyway. Second, the elastic on the outside of the right boot is already starting to fray :( I didn't realize that that was "a thing" common to the Chelsea boots after Doc Marten switched manufacturers, so to say I'm bummed is a bit of an understatement. I bought them in September 2022 and it's now the beginning of November 2022, so it only took about 2 months of consistent wear for the fraying to start.JAN 2025 UPDATE: These boots are still amazing! The fraying on the side has not changed or gotten worse over the years, and I've worn them way more often than just in the fall/winter (they're super cute with ankle socks and sundresses in the summertime FYI). I purchased the official Doc Marten sole inserts, and now they fit PERFECTLY and I can wear them year-round comfortably. Also, there was never a breaking-in period with these boots, they were perfectly comfortable from the get-go.

I adore these boots. I wear them at almost every day to work. I’m on my feet for a majority of the day. They are comfortable and easy to walk in. In the beginning, it was a little difficult to get my foot in, but as the elastic stretched out a bit (a few days), I can now put them on with ease. I have a wide foot and these fit me comfortably. Definitely recommend.

I have plantar fasciitis and was looking for something that would be stylish, fun, and super comfy without giving me foot pain. I was a little hesitant when they arrived, because I REALLY had to force my foot into the boot since they don't unzip or anything, and I was so disappointed. After much tugging and several deep breaths, I was able to get my feet into the boots. I decided to walk around the house in them to see how they felt, which was instantly comfortable. BUT, I dreaded talking them off as I wasn't sure if I could get them back on again! I was very near packaging them back up and returning them, but I decided to try again the next day to see if they had stretched out at all after wearing them around the house. Thankfully, they had! I was so happy! A few weeks in now, and I have worn them standing all day, shopping all day, (they were great on icy snowy sidewalks for grip and keeping my feet dry and happy) and they feel great! The opening has stretched out perfectly so I can pretty easily get them on and off! I do suggest wearing at least crew length socks so they don't rub on your shins before they are broken in. These do add quite a bit of height, and make me (at 5'10") tower over my (also 5'10") husband, but I'm trying to embrace it. 😉 I wear a size 10, have wide feet, and very high arches, and these have the perfect amount of room!

I was confused by the reviews regarding sizing. Some were adamant to “size up”, others equally adamant to “size down.” I wear a woman’s U.S. 6.5 medium (Euro 37) in shoes and boots. I chose to purchase the U.S. size 6. The tag on the inside of the boot reads U.S. 6. I was expecting difficulty getting them on, and with a shoe horn, that was true, but only the first 2 times. After that, I needed the shoehorn about 3-4 more times, and now I slip them on somewhat easily. The first time on, the left boot seemed to squish up my toes. I put a boot stretcher in that one over night. After that, I have been wearing them daily, on concrete floors, for long days. Absolutely comfortable, and I get compliments from everyone, young and old. The boots now feel a bit roomy inside, so I put on a heavier sock, which was my original intention. I don’t know if the toe is a “steel toe” but it feels like another boot I own that I know has steel toes. Very sturdy whatever it is. I purchased these for riding my Motor-scooter, because I could not touch ground, and these have helped, but since they are so comfortable and look great with so many things, I wear them for almost everything I do. I’d purchase these again.

I love them. I DO wish they were a bit wider at the ankles. But overall, a great everyday boot!I wear a size W10 and these fit a lil tight.

I love Dr. Martens and have 2 pairs that I wear regularly for work and have been very amazed by. I have changed up my style a bit from when I originally bought those, so I needed a change of pace for when im not at work. I intend to wear my old pairs for work regularly and have my new pair for when I go out and want to look nice but also casual without wearing sneakers because sneakers have never really been my thing. These are so comfortable, fit is perfect, and I am making sure to take care of them with leather conditioner and everything else! High recommend!!

These are less rough to break in than other Docs I’ve had (looking at you, Jadons). It takes about two days to break them in, and during that time, there’s some discomfort but not really pain. After they’re broken in, they’re so comfortable it’s ridiculous. They look great. Docs do run a tad big, so if you’re between sizes, you could probably size down. I’m about a 7.5 but I usually stick to the 8 with boots so I have room for thicker socks. The 8 for these is very roomy for me. Other reviews mention that these are hard to get on, which they do require a little pulling and stretching, but I think some of them were exaggerating. I put my foot in vertically and use the strap to pull them on. I’ve yet to have any issues getting them on or off, and the more you wear them, the easier it gets.

First impressions: Ok, if you’re like me, you’re going to panic when you go to put these on. The opening is small and the elastic will new and kind of not so stretchy. But! Fear not! They will go on with some small struggle lol. STRETCH the elastic with your hands as much as you can first. Just try to sit on a low couch and keep your foot as vertical as possible. Try to pull the front and the back or the back tab at the same time and eventually your foot will slip in. It helps if you’re wearing thin socks that go above your ankles. So far I love them but I did freak out for a moment thinking’s they'd never fit. Also I generally wear a size 8.5 to 9 US size and I ordered these in a US 8. If you’re worried make sure to check the Dr Martens website for your actual foot measurements and go from there. Also these are genuine Docs! The leather smells and feels real, very heavy in the hand but lightweight on the foot, pull tabs and yellow stitching is there and it came in the box with the Dr Martens patterned tissue paper.

I've had these about a fortnight now, it took about 4 days to break them in even with the DM double socks. I used the balsam polish on it as well. I really love the style and the Amazon price offers great value. I feel like these will last me for years to come.I'm glad for those who've reviewed these in the past, I'm usually a UK6 but UK5 fits great and have molded perfectly to my feet.Get you one!

These boots are PERFECT! As expected from the other reviews they do run a size large. I’m a 7.5-8 and bought a 7 and they fit perfectly with a bit of room for thick socks. The leather was stiff when they first arrived, but they took no more than ~3 days of walking around to get comfortable in.DO NOT WALK FOR LONG DISTANCES THE FIRST FEW TIMES YOU WEAR THEM! I walked for about 30 minutes total to my gym and back home and I got a blister on my toe lol. I also suggest wearing slightly higher socks your first few wears, as they’ll rub on your ankles quite a bit. Now I’ve worn them for about a week and they’re totally comfortable. 5/5 product, I’m sure they’ll last me for ages.

I love them, year ago ordered on Dr. Martens site but DHL delivery failed so I was upset, had money back and had neder ordered it again. When I saw them on Amazon I directly knew I want to order, took three days and I am a happy owner. I am thinking to order one more pair LOL
