Lee PrecisionC309-160-R Double Cavity Mold

I use the 155gr 311 and this and the 230gr 309. This is my least accurate mold out of a 300aac bolt and M4 platform. I’m tried different alloy mix and also multiple powders, my groups on paper are nearly 10in at 75yd, good luck at 100yd. I’ve tried with gas check and without, with the check I can right to maybe 6in at 75yd but that’s the best I’ve gotten. I can take the 230gr and keyhole at 100yd no problem, I can barely keep this one on the paper. The 300aac might now be the best for this mold specifically, however these are the results I’ve obtained. Someone told me this was more geared to a 30-30 setup.

Wow, these molds are made so well. I bought a couple of these in different grains. The 160 bullet seems a little small to me, but I bought this one, the 200gr, and the 180gr I think; it is all in storage so I can't quite remember. But, this mold did come with handles and I can tell it is VERY well made with exacting specifications. The double cavity to me is perfect because trying to do precise rifle rounds with a 6 cavity would just be too much. So, making them 2 at a time is kind of on point, because as all us reloaders know, patience is key to creating highly accurate rounds.

This bullet mold had great looking bullets casting quickly and just literally falling out of the cavities.Quality CNC machining and finish for a "cheapo" mold!Having other brands of mold in stock , this one casts just as good, if not better than the high dollar ones.

As always, Lee makes a great product.

The hotter your lead and mold the better your finished bullets. I use the lee dipper and keep it in the molten lead which really helps with the flow. Great speed for shipping of product in perfect condition. Base measurement for gas check with digital caliper at .284. Thank you!

Works great. Makes great bullets for hog hunting with a 300 blackout.

As usual the lee molds are perfect, all cuts on billet CNC. Parts are perfect. My concentric measurements tolerances were flawless with the manufactures specs after product was produced. I tested 20 out of 200.

I am new to casting and this product and as with all lee products it was very affordable, easy to use, and easy to become comfortable with, once i was in a rythem i cast 430 bullets in about under 2 hours. Follow the cleaning instructions and dont beat to hard on it and it should last longer than you will.

This product is exactly as described and it arrived right on schedule. I cast a batch of bullets and then powder coated them, very accurate.
