I have it taped to my nozzle and detach when not in use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for leveling a 3D printer bed and troubleshooting bed flatness problems! *by M***T on October 20, 2015* This review is for the AccuRemote Digital Indicator Gauge- product link below. I use this gauge to level the print bed in my 3D printer. I printed a clamp to hold it on the extruder carriage and wrote some gcode to move it around the bed and measure variations in surface flatness. It works great at room temperature and measurements are quite repeatable. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 because when the bed is hot, measurements are not very repeatable- I think that heat creeps up the probe and affects the readings- the numbers keep dropping the longer the probe is in contact with the bed. It comes in a very robust storage case with a spare battery. It has a USB port but there's no mention of it in the manual, and when I plug it into USB, all the display segments light up, so I don't think it can be used to capture measurement data.
