Womens's Medieval Renaissance Costume Cosplay Over Dress

I was impressed with this dress when I first opened the package - and it looked even better when I tried it on! The top dress has a true corset effect. You can tighten or loosen the laces on the front, back, and shoulders. The dress underneath is fairly see-through. As a busty gal, I was surprised at the support this dress provided without wearing a bra. I tried several things before finding the best solution for nipple coverage - a white tank top. The materials are very nice, the dress looks authentic to wear at a Renaissance Faire, and the price is good. I'm 5'7" and about 150 lbs, bra size 36DD. The small/medium fits perfectly.

Size references 5’2” 165lbs 36D Size Ordered S/M I needed something quick and simple in a rush on a budget. I ordered this one in the pinkish color. I’m partially color blind so it looks more mauve to me than pink. Let’s start with the cream dress that goes underneath! It’s super light and sheer. But to me the lightness of it made it a great choice when dealing with Florida heat. As for the sheerness, with proper undergarments you cannot see through to the goods. I have pretty plump boobas and it fit very well covering the girls just enough to be comfortable and not so risqué. The fit was not so loose and not so tight. It was a perfect fit. I’m very well proportioned when it comes to having body shape. It didn’t feel like it restricted my movements. For the sleeves to stay below the shoulders definitely use fashion tape. For the vest thing that wen over it, I love it just as much, it fit perfectly and can be adjusted according to your waist and bust size. It was longer than the dress underneath but that isn’t enough to give it a bad rating. I’m short! If anything I like it a little longer. The whole ensemble by itself no petticoat is beautiful. It’s pretty flat but good hair, makeup and accessories make it all come to life! The petticoat helped bring that extra sauce to the whole thing. Overall 10/10! Easy to wash, comfortable to wear and the smaller size was better suited for a tighter fit.

The outer coat is soft and quite comfy. I have a much bigger chest and the chemise and coat fit great on my chest. Chemise is quite see through and ran very small on me. I wish I could wear it but I’ll have to wear something different underneath. Since it’s so thin, it’s not very warm. I’m 280lbs and have a larger lower belly and even bigger butt. It does not fit well in that area. I ordered the XXL/3XL and it’s quite tight around that region. However, with having a 38G/H chest, the coat works very well! Excited to use this coat. Overall I love this! First off, it is two pieces. The cinching in the front is not great. I really loved the bottom piece. When I got this I play around with the pieces stacking them in different ways. I bought this for my birthday night out to Medieval Times. Now I am not sure what I will do because I have so many different looks. I loved how it looked when I used a black long full (bohemian skirt) over the white, also loved adding a brown belt or black corset. Lots of options. I can see me taking these pieces and mixing them in with some of my own clothes to create a weekend’s worth of different options. Oh and the white underlay is thin but super soft. Have fun! Overall well made. I sized up (because I wanted it in a specific color) it fits large but I knew it would. At 4’11’ almost everything needs adjusting, but nothing a small inseam won’t fix. I will not hem because I like the way it hits the floor.

The dress is beautiful and has a nice medieval/renaissance style. The sizing is accurate and it fits comfortably. The bottom dress is lightweight and sheer, which gives it a flowy look but does require a slip underneath if you want more coverage. One drawback is the fabric care. Although the instructions say “dry clean only,” I tested washing it in cold water on delicate and drying on a delicate setting. Unfortunately, it’s extremely wrinkly and the wrinkles did not improve in the dryer. I had to iron it multiple times on a cool setting to get it looking smooth again, which was time-consuming. Overall, it’s a lovely dress with a flattering design, but be prepared to deal with a lot of ironing and delicate care to maintain its look

Loved this dress. I am 5’-1.5”tall , 140lbs, bust 38DD. Bought a size L/XL. White shift dress is a little see-through, I would recommend a full or half slip be worn under it. This reached the floor, used a white stretch belt with it, and was able to adjust the length with the belt. BUT, the burgundy over dress was very long. I had to hem it up 8 inches so that it reached my ankles. Material is very nice, not the cheap material that some costumes are made of. Very well made. Some stretch to white shift dress, had lots of room in it. Was very comfortable. By the time we got home from the Renaissance Faire here in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the only wrinkles I noticed on my outfit were from my belt on the waist of my shift dress. There are no zippers on this dress, only ties. There are ties on the shoulders and it’s adjustable this way as well, but still it was too long for me even with the ties. Oh, I did have to iron it. And it did not have an odor to it. Highly recommend this dress. Would buy again in an another color to add to my collection. Love my burgundy.

Extremely happy with purchase! Ordered on a Monday at about 1pm & it arrived the following day at 11.30am! Less than 24 hrs. Very impressed. The outfit was nicer than what I thought I’d get. Great quality. Should have looked back at the pic on the site, as I wore it incorrectly! Plenty of compliments though. Will definitely go to Amazon again for my purchases. Especially if I need something fast.

Looks great! The white lacing on the overdress was uneven on mine but easy enough to fix! As others have said the lacing is slightly annoying but that is to be expected on anything that needs to be laced. Considering the price I am super happy with it!
