Great for keeping hydrated at work
I got this cap to replace the standard cap on my 64 oz Coldest Water bottle. I trimmed about 1.5 inches off the straw and it fits perfectly. The included brush is high quality and makes it easy to clean the straw and cap. There have been no issues with the cap or straw making noise when I drink. The only minor issue is that it’s harder to suck water up than some of the other sip caps I’ve had. However it’s not a problem for me as I use it to drink water in small sips throughout the day. This is a great choice for desk workers to get additional hydration throughout the day as they work. The 64 oz bottle from The Coldest Water is an ideal bottle to hold an entire day’s worth of water, so you can take the guesswork out of hydration.

A Lifesaver
I purchased a 64 oz Coldest Water bottle 2 years ago! The bottle itself has been great and as good as advertised! My only issue was it started to leak recently. I also hated that there wasn't a straw included in my original order. My mouth isn't very wide so it was a struggle for me to drink out of the bottle. Then comes this straw which has been complete game changer! My water bottle no longer leaks and I can finally drink my ice cold water from Niagara Falls in peace!

This will level up your Coldest Water Bottle game!
My only issue with the Coldest Water Bottle is the lid. This is the perfect solution to that. You get a long straw that you cut to the size of your bottle, two straw cleaners and a clip. The straw is very durable and will last long. The straw cleaners are perfect for cleaning the inside of your straw and works flawlessly. The clip is strong enough to support the weight of the water bottle full of ice and water. No issues drinking through the straw as long as it’s fully extended. My only issue is the blue tip gets really dirty and no matter how much I scrub, I can’t get the stains out. This is why I subtracted a star. Other than that, it’s a perfect lid for my favorite water bottle.

Excellent quality
The fit is perfect. There are no leaks, just trim the straw a little to fit properly (clean it of course), then screw it on. Works great, works great for the gym and made my life a lot easier when I was ill in bed for a couple days.

Avoid the whistle
I've had my 32oz bottle for over a year now and love it, but recently decided I wanted to have the option to drink through a straw. The widemouth can be difficult to drink from if you're actively moving or driving or any other number of situations, so I decided to get the straw top. I read all the reviews that complained of the shrieking whistle when you suck but got it anyway. Sure enough, after cutting my straw to size and putting the lid on I got the whistle. I tried a few variations with/without the straw, ice, etc. All whistled. But... I fixed it. The underside of the cap has not one, but two holes. One connect to the sip spout, and the other connects to what seems to be a rubber stoppered air vent (this is where the whistle comes from). The hole to the vent appears to have a rubber grommet so I tried sticking the straw there, and it stayed. I cut my other straw down to the same size and put it in the sip hole and BAM, no more whistling. There is now only a gentle bubbling as air is drawn down into the water. I really think the instructions should be more clear about this (or even state at all that it's even possible), but it works.

perfect fit hydroflask widemouth
Fits perfect. Higher quality brushes compared to others. Why do so many water bottle accessories come with carabiners, compasses, and paracord? How deep are we going into the woods with these bottles? They should come with spotting-flares if youre in enough trouble to bust out the paracord and compass.

Lid Whistles Straw Fails but Ice is ice 15 hours later
Was so thrilled this came back. Couldn't wait to pop it on their pink 32 oz flask. Took all of September for the color pink to come in so top was just here resting. Finally flask arrived. GORGEOUS steel gleaming machining. I cleaned it, even enjoyed the straw cleaner, filled it half way with ice the other half with ice water, trimmed the straw and twisted on this cap which should have a pink spigot but doesn't, and at 3pm took several smooth swigs of icy water through the very comfy spout. Its surprisingly not a hard rubber. Very nice. That's darn where the good ends when it comes to this cap. 2.0 hasn't fixed any flaws I see in complaints. About quarter empty straw failed completely. Not a drop would come through no matter how hard I pulled. I removed the straw. To my shock a loud piercing whistling resulted when I tried to drink using the spigot only. Moved my front teeth about the tip to try to stop it. How silly is this? Water flowed fine but you can't use this thing in front of others and you certainly better not take it out in a movie theater. Water still full of cubes I kept going. Down to fourth full whistling ceased. What's wrong with this company? Instead of adding a pillow and mattress first make your name sake product perfect. Other Issue Spout has a neat pedal on it. Not for the weak handed nor long delicate nails. I get it this is pro athlete stuff CW says. You mash on it and the spigot rises, slowly. You'd think that would keep the biz end clean but nope there's another way its getting grimy. Look at my hand position through the carry loop. No way your hands aren't going to germ up the pour spout brushing it repetitively. I'm five ft so not a big hand. This lid needs a cover and no not the sleeve they sell. Too much baggage. I simply want clean access to ice water at my bedside not a suitcase. A biker pedaling dirt up on it and grabbing it with grimy paws, certainly has an unsanitary spout to swig from. Lastly Customer service is way too in a hurry, Every email is answered by Ray of Here is your tracking number. Doesn't take time to study what you've written or review your past communications. Tacky. 6AM Still have cubes, 15 hours after filling. I'll just whistle on. A shame. Contigo, never whistled never lost a drop but beverages are warm in 4 hours. Cubes don't make it 3 hours. Contigo AUTOSEAL West Loop Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Easy-Clean Lid, 24 oz, Stainless Steel What a trade off. Lukewarm quiet sips vs Shrieking for ice. John, Founder, do better. Some Chinese factory is screwing YOU up in both quality control and lousy inventory management. You have no idea when your merchandise will replenish. Makes for aggravating shopping. Then you only use the post office. Sorry out of Fort Myers its fraught with problems. Use better carriers. Especially 1st class leave the post office for greeting cards and bill paying not commercial shipping. No I don't need tracking Ray after I tell you a package is lost. ***** UPDATE! SQUEAL STOPPED I got it figured out. I filled it with water only. Straw never failed. No whistle. Not a sound to the very end. That gave me a clue. Its the position of the ice that's causing this raucous. I next filled the tank more than half full of water first then to the top with cubes. Straw worked a moment then failed so again I removed it but not a peep any longer from this lid all the way to the last drop. So the cute straws are now just decoration. I have COLD and SILENCE. I know some engineer could have figured this out already. You're welcomed Coldest! I'll add a star. Noise returns, down it will go.

I purchased the 64oz "The coldest water" bottle because I was fed up of breaking plastic bottles and thought I would just go for the best of the best. The bottle is perfect but this mouth piece is awful. The breathing vent does not work and therefore you get the smallest of sips before the vacuum makes drinking so hard. I am so annoyed after paying over £60 for a water bottle and lid for it not to work. I returned the lid and purchased another - same problem. It must be a product design flaw or a bad batch?

The Bottle is absolutely brilliant keeps drinks cold all day! However spending £12 on this straw lid and all it does is whistle and sometimes when opening the mouth piece is spurts out water everywhere. (No faults of the Bottle just the straw lid)
