It won't cut through it though, but it will make a very thick smoothie. I have tried mangos with a little bit of milk + water, whey protein + water/milk + banana, nooseberry fruit (Chiku) + milk. Any fruit that's generally ripe and softer, just like these will work in this blender bottle, but just shake them really nice and hard. And surprisingly, if you put in a few ice cubes, and shake it really hard, it will even break them so nicely that you can make an ice golla (google that please). **Q: Is this bottle air tight?** A: Nope. To be fair, I use an immersion blender on the mix first so I can't truly swear it blends like a champ on it's own- but the bottle itself is everything I need it to be. The shake I drink seperates super easily, and the ball whips it back together in a flash. Today, my shake got too cold in the fridge and a chunk of it froze. The ball was able to smash the frozen part back into liquid. The top is super secure and I never feel worried when I'm shaking it around. All parts are easy to clean. I wash mine every day and actually just shake them with hot, soapy water to clean. Easy. Durable and efficient.
