We have a red farmhouse built in 1850. I wanted something that reflected farmhouse style and these pillows are perfect! They feel sturdy, despite stuffing my old pillows in them, there was no concerns over ripped fabric or the zipper breaking. They have a hidden zipper that closed smoothly. I do not believe that these are waterproofs. But they sit on my porch that has an overhang, so getting wet is not an issue. If used indoors, I would say this is purely a decorative pillow cover, as it’s not soft and snuggly.. it’s fabric is a bit more dense and rigid, not quite scratchy. But for 2 pillow covers for $10 that transformed my little front porch.. I think they’re perfect.
