Working quite well
This works so well. Very easy to use when its warm, becomes very pliable. It's very stiff to use when it's cold. I used it to fix an air leak in a bedroom window. Holds really well in the wood frame- it kept the wind and cold out. It made a good seal.

Good sealing, very helpful in difficult conditions but a little be temperature sensitive
Good sealing, very helpful in difficult conditions but a little be temperature sensitive so when I tried to apply it during a wind storm, cloudy, sunless day at 47º F, it was stiff and stuck to my fingers more than it stuck to the window frame. I still recommend it really did stop the significant cold air leaks (and small leaks as well) which is exactly what we wanted, When the temperature is a little bit warmer its easy to apply but when the metal window frame got down to 47º F in high winds, it got still and did not stick to the metal frame so much, I could still push it into place into the grooves that were laking a huge amount of air. NOTE: Even a tiny hole can leak a massive amount of air, so its best to use more and push it into every possible crevice to trite catch all the possible leaks. When the window temperature is cld and the caulk doesn't want to stick to the cold metal frame, it will tend to stick to your fingers so push in to the slot/crevice then slide or twist your finger to release the caulk (don't worry it washes easily off you're fingers so push it as hard as necessary to get it to stick to the frame). You will notice that once you install it that when it's cold it will harden, don't worry, it still seals the window and keeps the drafts out. When the temperature rises then it will soften again and if you need to you can then work it into the gap/crevice some more. Although its listed as 45 feet which sounds like a lot, keep in mind that it comes in 5 rows, you can tear off 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 strands and install them, so very often you will use more than 1 strand (I often used 3 or 4 strands) so I was only able to seal one and a half standard sided windows (which is all I added to do anyway), at its low price its certainly worth buying more if you need it, use plenty so it seals your windows properly. I would give it a 5 start rating other than a slight challenge with installing it at cold temperatures (which it still got installed, it just took more effort, that was worth it).

Works well, easy to use and install, but remains tacky
Works great, looks good, and easy to install/apply. It adheres well, but be cautious using it as a filler for flooring gaps as I did - it remains tacky indefinitely. That's fine in a corner or door jamb area, or a window as in the product packaging picture, but I used it to fill a tile/laminate flooring gap across a doorway, and the tackiness does not diminish. The color blends well with medium to dark woods.

Easy way to stop leaks
I loved this product for a temporary solution to stop air leaks instantly. Well, it also gave my wife a peace of mind. I knew that the air wasn't leaking through the window cracks but she insisted that there was air. So, I added this to the windows and gave her a peace of mind (and peace in my ears). However, if there were leaks, this would certainly stop them. It comes off easily in the spring when you want to start opening up the windows. It has the consistency of clay, but not oily.

Very good caulk but almost too soft
Does the job well, but when pulling off a strand from the coil many times the strand would break. No big deal, you can join broken pieces together. A bit sticky to the touch. I had to wet my fingers to keep the product from sticking to my skin.

Does the job, but has the formula changed?
I have purchased this in the past and loved it, but there seems to have been a change in manufacturing. It used to come in a more distinctive "rope" that held together well and was easy to apply. As before, it is a wide strip of brown caulk that has had lines pressed into it. You peel off one of the lines to get your "cord" of caulk. However, now it doesn't peel as easily, the line of caulk keeps breaking and it is much stickier and stretchier and squishier than the way it used to be. But, it still does the job. I use it on dark stained woodwork/windows to block drafts. The dark brown color blends right in. The prior stuff did not damage the finish. Not sure if this is a new formula and if it will affect the woodwork, but the package says it won't.

Great Caulk - Many Uses!!
The brown rope caulk was extremely easy to use and matched my woodwork perfectly. I used this caulk to fill in a gap between carpet in my basement living room and a storage room that got water damage. I had to replace the carpet in the storage room with a raised, ventilated tile used mainly on patios and had a gap between the tile and carpet from the main room. It looks great, and matches everything. It is not meant for this purpose, so stepping on it feels sticky, but still stays in place.

Easy to use.
Works well. Will dry out in sun.

It isn't a cord, can't be applied as shown. It is like plasticine on a roll.

Soft and pliable. Works really well. Good price. Used to plug wiring holes on back of fridge. Old caulking was dried out and no longer sealed.

I bought this to stop drafts around old window frames. It helped a little, but the gaps were simply too large due to the building’s age. Not sure if i could blame the product.
