You do not have to have a sissy bar to mount this
I don't think the add describes the mounting too well. I have a Kawasaki KLR 650 Adventure with the rear cargo box and this will mount right in front of the box (sitting on the rear seat). It has loops in all corners so you can simply slip a bungee cord in the loops and tie it down to the side racks. I have went on multiple trips, bike sat in the parking lot while it was pouring down rain, not one drop of water got on my things. I can get about 4 or 5 days worth of clothes, snacks, accessories, and gear in the bag. You can unstrap it from the bike and carry it in the Hotel just as you would the finest set of luggage. Great quality and very durable. I have owned this all summer and so far it has held up perfectly. I highly recommend (plus it looks very cool mounted on the bike).

HARPER 4650 - LARGEST POSSIBLE BAG - FITS GL1800 LUGGAGE RACK JUST FINE.
I just used this bag to travel from wisconsin through the western slope of colorado. The texture of the fabric attracts dust easily. Not a big deal. The zippers do not seem to be of super high quality but they did not fail in any way on my initial test of this bag.The bag is secured by 4 built in bungee straps that can be hidden in a zipper compartment on the underside of the bag.It is also secured via two velcro straps on the back side of the bag. I used all 4 bungees and one of the velcro straps for my trip.I did raise up my windshield for extra air protection on this trip and I must say it helped. I raised the windshield upon arriving on the western slope. I recommend having your windshield raised as high as possible because this bag is tall. Its tall but it can easily press down if it's not packed full.It can hold a sleeping bag tightly packed into a sleeve and about 4 sweatshirts, all in the main pocket. The exterior large pocket can hold a fair amount of stuff and each side pocket can hold quite a bit. For instance, I packed some campfire starting materials and a full size can of bear mace on each side compartment, rolls of duct tape, plastic bags.I think this bag is best used in lieu of suitcase. Then your cooler can go into the backseat and your extra stuff can go into the luggage bags and your trunk can remain entirely functional. If this bag had been even larger, I would not have been disappointed. Many of the reviews said something along the lines of "bag is too big" "what will I possibly do with all this space?!?!?"I am on the other end of this spectrum. I believe the bag is smaller than I expected. If you have a sport bike, this bag will be too big for your bike. If you have a goldwing, it wont be too big.

Awesome bag!
Very sturdy bag. Has 3 different compartments on the outside of the main section. The bungie's are sturdy and I like the fact that they are attached and zipped up under the bag when not in use so you cant lose them. The zippers are covered by a flap all the way around as well. The bag has a reflective strip so you are visible at night. I have a Goldwong F6B and it fit perfectly on my back seat. I tied the bungie to my luggage rack because I already have a small trunk on my bike. This gave me all the room I needed. The handles on the top make it easy to carry and you also have the option to use the long carrying strap as well. Great bag with a lifetime warranty. The only thing I didnt like is that the long carrying strap does not have a cushion so it will dig in your shoulder. I simply took one off of another bag i had. Problem solved. I have not tried it in the rain yet so that is why I didnt give it a rating.

Great Bag
This bag is a pretty great. Packed it with enough clothes for a 3-4 day trip and strapped to the top pf my Indian Chieftain's luggage rack. The built in bungees worked well. Plenty of room for everything I needed.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is it isn't water proof and should come with a rain fly for free i believe.

I purchased both the Bungee and the Strap Model. Big Difference in Materials
The Bungee model is built very well. Looks like material is double thick with an inner solid liner. It is much heavier than the strap model. Originally I ordered the bungee model but I thought I was ordering the strap model. Once I received it I then ordered the strap model. I received the strap model before I returned the bungee model. Once I looked at the night and day difference between the models I decided to keep the bungee model and returned the strap model. The strap model only has one layer of material. No inner liner. It was much lighter in weight and felt like a gym bag. I do not recommend the strap model. I do recommend the bungee model. Lots of room in these bags.

Chase Harper Products Never Disappoint!
Well made bag, slightly larger than expected. In built Straps and cords do a great job of holding bag in place. Very useful and would work great as an overnight bag

Durable and generous space - 250CC Honda scooter
This bag is of the highest quality. I know some people here think it’s too big but I thought it would be a little larger. Even so, I can easily fit a packaged case of beer with a three pack paper towel in the main compartment. The side compartments and front compartment are generous and can fit an assortment of items. This bag is sturdy and was easy to set up.

Good: Huge bag -- Bad: Huge bag
Got this to replace my old Tourmaster bag, but didn't realize just how big this thing is. I actually prefer a smaller profile bag so as not to diminish the cool factor of the bike's look. That's not possible with this bag because it's so big. On the other hand, I am now never without an extra layer of fleece if I need one. An extra pair of shoes or a change of clothes? No problem. The bag retains its shape, full or empty, so it doesn't flap in the breeze. Bottom line: it's not stealthy, bit it will hold all youy need. Recommended.
