I ordered a size bigger than I thought I should and they're still pretty tight. Speaking of fit these are high waisted pants, meaning that the crotch is very low. The only way to get any sort of freedom of movement is to pull them up grandpa style up to your belly button. If you don't you can barely get a full stride, let alone hike up a hill.The fleece lining is very soft and comfortable but because the liner isn't welded to the outside fabric it makes the pants feel bulky, more like insulated ski pants.They are NOT wind proof, granted I tested these on a day a very cold day, the air temp was -8F and a windchill in -20s but I had better luck with my L.L.
