I like the size of the roll (easy to store) but it is definitely a lightweight plastic. It generally won't stay put when walked on unless taped/secured somehow. For my purposes, I find it useful for a quick cover, or for covering those edges that aren't quite reached by a heavier plastic's dimensions. It's a good product with many uses, but don't expect a sturdy plastic.

Used on the 3M roll applicator and saved alot of time.

This is the only masking film I like to use! Economical yet good quality.

Perfect for covering my walls for flooring tile/thinset demo. It took a day to put it up using painters tape on the ceiling and floor ends, but seeing how much dust got kicked up from the demo made this worth it. A big plus is when unrolling, it's pretty static-y so it will stick to the walls as you're putting it up ... much easier to tape that way. It held up pretty well, just some holes/tears here and there, but expected since it's relatively thin and I had 3 days of demo going on.

Worked great to tape along the baseboards to protect the floors while we were painting the walls. Plastic is very thin, but we kept it folded in half and never had any tearing or puncture issues.

Ended up buying this to help mask the walls. I needed to get rid of the popcorn ceiling in my house and didn't want to make a mess. It is very flimsy (like the other reviewer noted) but that is the whole point. When masking walls, you don't want something heavy. It also clings to the wall as you can see in the picture I posted.

The media could not be loaded. 4 out of 6 rolls of this 9ft masking plastic I bought were useless, somehow cut at factory so when unfolded it just left the 3m section and rest hit the ground. Had to go back around with some 8ft to make it work because I didn’t have anymore 9 ft. Need a refund for 4 rolls. Wonder if these were 3m knockoff rolls. All of the 99” rolls were perfect.

This is a little tricky to get to unravel. Spent way to much time trying to get it off the roll and opened up for use. Thickness was sufficient for residential use, I would not recommend in a commercial setting unless a small office type area.
