Our granddaughter continues her love for butterflies, which began when she was five, and this book - in poetry, prose, and illustration - starts with butterfly eyes and goes on to many other good observations to learn and use when a child is out of doors - or an adult, for that matter!

Beautiful artwork and poetry.

I love this poetry book. I bought it because it won the Cybil award for best poetry for children. And I am so pleased with it. The poetry is clever, the illustrations are beautiful, and the text is educational.

I just love these Joyce Sidman books. The illustrations are wonderful. Great for reading aloud.
