As I said, a jolly good read!

Bought as a gift for my husband. He loves the story lines and has now enjoyed the 20 books of the series. He said he will read other Bernard Cornwell novels.

Excellent books, well worth a read.

You can't go wrong with a character like Sharpe. Excellent series. Always a great read.

Bernard Cornwell can write! I've spent many hours being thoroughly entertained by Sharpe's exploits. I originally started with Last Kingdom Series, which is a must read itself. When finished with that I went looking for more Cornwell books, found Richard Sharpe & have been on many adventures with him. Do yourself a favor & try this series.

Well read, most enjoyable

I love his historical fiction. All time periods. I've learned a lot of world history while being entertained.

Books arrived quickly. Very enjoyable reading.

I started with book 1 in this series and can't stop reading. The later volumes are hard to get, and relatively expensive, but worth every "penny".
