I also added a little 3% hydrogen peroxide to the water. These plants thrive in tropical temperatures under full light so keep temperature 75 F and get a lamp or heat mat to place the pot on. Three out of five seeds sprouted -- one is a track star -- and there is a fourth that seems to be a little directionally challenged. I’ve seen them at least 40 feet tall and 40 feet wide. I think it takes a long time to get that big, though. **Q: Is there a stratification for this** A: These trees are tropical so thus they do not need to be cold stratified and warm stratification will just cause then to sprout in about 2 - 4 weeks, which is technically planting seeds. They do, however, require *scarification* in order to germinate or they will not sprout. The pointy end needs to be clipped or filed for the outer shell to allow water to penetrate and release the seed. Then you plant and it will grow. **Q: How many colors are they** A: There is also a yellow-flowered version of this tree.
