I've had several successions of this oak leaf lettuce growing since March with nearly 100% germination rate. The lettuce is crisp and tender, sweet and a little peppery. I grow these hydroponically and they are delicious. They are super showy and make a fantastic centerpiece for a veggie tray.I am germinating these individually in 2" net pots with expanded clay pellets. Out of about 80 seeds used so far, I have had just one seedling fail to thrive. It germinated then quickly damped off, so it could have been my fault for keeping it too moist.I'm also impressed with how well they hold up in the scorching Southern California heat and sunshine. These have been producing tender, compact plants all summer long with no boltiness or bitterness. This is one of my new favorites.

The media could not be loaded.  I wanted to try to grow greens in winter. The lettuce is on the right. It snowed last week! This is hardy & sweet. Tastes really good!

We got the seeds promptly planted and they came up right away. Unfortunately the bunnies go to enjoy them as micro greens before we could harvest. Will try again in the spring.

As promised

Ordered the red leaf and green leaf for farm usage and was able to start 2.5 seed trays (72 count trays). I sow 2-3 seeds per cell, so there are closer to 250 seeds. Which is an average packet for more money. Do not recommend and looking for a full refund.
