Hard-hitting British urban drama about disaffected youth. Given the day off school after a girl in their class commits suicide, a group of troubled 15-year-olds spend the day wandering the streets of London taking drugs, getting in fights, indulging in under-age sex, and moving ever closer to a gun crime that will change their lives. Written by and starring Noel Clarke, and directed by Manhaj Huda.

KiDULTHOOD Is Still Timely To This Day & Age...
Crikey this film takes me back...I witnessed this film in my First Year of College as part of my Media Studies Course.I was shocked at this when I was 15 because it felt so true to a certain Demographic of Youth at the time when it came out in March 2006. So weird to think it will be "15 years old" in 2021 next year.Either way the themes of Knife Crime, Chav Culture, Drugs, Underage Sex, Teen Pregnancies, Bullying, Suicide they were all so relevant to the times. No wonder I decided to give it another watch. I'm getting flashbacks to me back sitting in the classroom at College still just as shocked by its spot-on relevance...

Not a special edition 18 certificate as in picture.
Arrived quickly but the online description & image show an 18 certificate. When it arrived it is a 15 certificate & the young man was disappointed.

Worth a watch.
Sad showing of urban life for some youth today but some truth to it sadly, worth a watch.
