The extruder was mostly plastic and would skip a great deal (accompanied by a loud clicking noise). I was forced to crank up the flow rate to as much as 140% to keep from under-extruding. On a forum, someone recommended upgrading to an aluminum extruder.After installing the KINGPRINT upgraded extruder, those problems went away. No more skipping, and retraction works better now as well. I now keep flow rate at 100%.There are no instructions. I used the pictures on the Amazon listing to guide me. It took about fifteen minutes total to take the old one off and put the new one on.
