The Grinch [DVD] [2018]

The item arrived latter. But the cbluray is very nice.

Kids love it (4-8) and I love it, aged 36. Great music, animation is stunning and the story is brilliant. Great message in it too and the ending is lovely.

I got this in the lead up to Christmas for some family entertainment and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.The animation is great and the characters are all voice acted exceptionally so you end up feeling for them and with them.The themes are timeless and done well without being too over the top. and the language is evocative of the highly distinctive Dr Seuss style.I happily recommend this to everyone, and I know that both of my kids took away the basic theme that Christmas is about more than presents without having to have it explained.Good clean Christmas family fun

My 3 year old has now watched this movie well into the hundreds of times. It's funny, clever and a great movie for a family night in or if you just need an hour and a bit to catch up on chores, your kids will sit enthralled in front of the TV without losing focus. There's so many new details I'm still picking up on as we rewatch it for the hundredth time and the music is really catchy too (not a musical, just a soundtrack). Small spoiler: it's also one of the few movies where it shows how exhausting it can be to be a single mum without insisting she has to be in a couple to be happy and forcing her to find a man to be happy. I know a lot of people have the childhood nostalgia for the Jim Carrey Grinch but if they removed the nostalgia and were really honest this is far far better and much more suited for all ages.

this is such a brilliant movie with laughs for all the family

The newest realisation of the Grinch is one of my favourites, if not favourite... nostalgia for the original cartoon version makes me feel guilty admiting it.The style and colours makes this film visually beautiful.I particularly love the relationship between the Grinch and Max in this version.Fun for adults and children alike.Only thing I wasn't fond of was the disc starting into previews first and not the start screen - easily remedied.Came with 3D disc, 2D disc and Digital download code.

Great film. Enjoyable. Kids love it too.
