I really love well-engineered products and this is a great example. It is compact, elegant and flexible. It's just cool in general for anyone to use, but if you do a lot of video and camera work then this is a no-brainer in the camera bag. You have to be careful not to bend or rotate it in directions it wasn't designed to be bent, but that's easy enough and obvious after setting it up the first time.
