Love this book. Complete, comprehensive information and beautiful photos. Worth every cent

I have quite a library of these books now, and every single one of them are beyond excellent. I love that you can get them for different areas, since there are different creatures in the different bodies of water. It is far easier to lug these books with me on a diving trip to a specific region that one HUGE book with creatures that would not even be in an area I am in. The pictures and description are so good. A wonderful resource, easy to read, superb quality. I hope to continue to collect others!

I have a lot of the books from this publisher, so it probably isn't a surprise that I like this book as well. The critter books include quite a few slugs, but this book has so many more. Very interesting for people who like to ID their sea slugs.

In identifying subjects for my underwater photography I refer to this book often. My only comment is that sometimes the photo subjects shown in this book are slightly off from the creatures I've found... either the creatures display multiple variations not listed or else the photo transfer process isn't completely true. Otherwise, a good reference book.

I had purchased another book before we went diving in Zanzibar but wasn't able to find all of the creatures that we saw. The dive shop we used had this one so I purchased it before we even got home. It is thorough and the pictures are great. It is a nice addition to our growing collection of ID books.

Nudibranchs are fascinating... but 500+ pages full of smallish images and text might seem over the top. That is what I thought before I had this guide in my hand after a dive with our local shop in the Philippines. Went on Amazon, ordered the book. Together with the Reef ID book, the best there is about the Indo Pacific. Maybe I add the crustaceans in the future, to complete the collection about this area. However, I am very happy about the purchase and how the delivery worked.

For the scuba diver and underwater photographer, this is a must have book. The number of newly discovered nudibranchs since the last edition of this book is significant and well worth the cost. Even for the non-diver, this is a fantastic book for anyone interested in marine life.

Even though I have not been to the Indo-Pacific yet, I got this for when I someday do. The photos are bright and easy to identify, making it a great book regardless if you are diving in the Indo-Pacific.

Esta serie de libros, junto con la Reef Fish y reef creatures son imprescindibles para el buen amante de la vida coralina e identificación de especies. En este caso es sobre nudibranquios o babosas de mar. A quien le guste la vida macro marina le encantará. lo utilizo muchísimo para identificar especies después de realizar inmersiones de fotografía submarina. La calidad es sobresaliente y el numero de especies apabullante. Es un autentico placer perder horas buscando fotos y comparando con las realizadas con la cámara submarina. A cualquier persona interesada en identificación de especies o fotógrafos submarinos, lo recomiendo.

Findet man in Südostasien in jedem einigermaßen vernünftigen Tauchresort und auf Liveaboards. Reicht völlig aus zur Bestimmung der gängigen Arten. Ideal für Unterwasser-Fotografen, die anhand der Fotos die Art bestimmen wollen. Wer tiefer in die Materie einsteigen möchte, muss Meeresbiologie studieren und sich mit den Erstbeschreibungen auseinander setzen. Terry Grosliner macht's einem da mit seinen Fotos und Beschreibungen einfacher. Da der wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisgewinn jedoch ein Prozess ist und Arten anderen Gattungen zugeordnet werden können, sollte man trotzdem noch mal bei Worms (World Register of Marine Species) nachschauen, denn die sind aktuell.
