Whimsical Xmas cartoon that we watched with kiddos 20 years ago. Glad we finally found a copy!

The concept for this book is very fun and the children love it!

My son and I watched this when he was little and I bought it for him to own this past Christmas. We watched it together and loved it. It’s so weird, cute and silly.

The first DVD that came was brand new yet didn't work I had to send it back to get a new one so always be sure to ch it out before you throw the packaging away

A precious animated movie about a dog named Olive. In the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer song, the line "all of the other reindeer" is misunderstood by Olive who thinks it is "Olive the Other Reindeer". My granddaughters are adults now but it remains a sentimental favorite!

DVD worked perfectly. Movie makes a great addition to any holiday collection.

This Christmas story moves seamlessly between adult humor, child-like cuteness, and playful whimsey. Do not expect a rote production of the children's book. It is directed at a more mature audience that still has Christmas spirit.

A very fun story of a dog mistakenly think she is asked to help Santa. And her adventure in trying to make her way to the North Pole to help him.

It's to be a gift but it came quickly and looks great

We've loved Olive for years and have had it on video for years too. However, the video has seen better days, so it was time to upgrade! We know what we're getting, but if you haven't seen Olive you should give it a go. It's quirky, and you need to watch it several times to catch all the verbal and sight gags (some of them are a little rushed/garbled at first until you tune in to them) and whilst the songs are very clever and funny, again you need to listen carefully so that you get the full impact of how the words were intended to work, and what they were trying to convey in terms of the story. In some ways it's a little dated now, and yet in others it's timeless. My children have always loved it, but there's plenty of cross-generation humour which adults will 'get' which will go over the heads of the little ones until they're old enough to 'get it' themselves! That is always a bonus - there is nothing worse than something which only panders to the child's level, but which adults are forced to sit through, and Olive is one of those which manages to give something to everyone that ill keep them interested at their respective humour levels. If you've never seen Olive, give it a try - for the price of the DVD how could you not?!

I loved this movie when I was a kid and I was so happy to find it here! I love the artwork on the case and the fact that it's not one of those cheaply made, cruddy dvd cases. The movie was awesome and exactly as I remembered.
