Hi what's the best way to connect the radiator with these as we are getting leaks

Use ptf tape on thread that goes into radiator use plenty making sure it is in the trough of the thread. Then screw into radiator, there is usually a square or Hex hole that a allen key (buy separately) goes in to assist with this. Tighten till a reasonable amount of friction is felt, do not untighten or you will need to reapply the tape. The parts that go onto the pipe. Make sure they go into to radiator valve straight and the Brass/copper olive (ring) sits over the pipe. You can also put some ptf tape over the olive and pipe . Then tighten.

Are these bi directional?

I can't say I know, but I can't see why flow would impede the valve as it is operated by heat.

In terms of room temperature what do the numbers mean?

Cannot answer it yet has not put it on wall with the new radiator

What is the dimensions of these from the outer connection but to the centre of the pipe?
