Snakes on a wire - great repellent for woodpeckers and flickers
We strung these on a wire and hung it across the shingles the little devils were destroying. Works like a charm. The snakes wiggle in the breeze so the birds don't get used to them. Once a bird landed on the wire and about had a heart attack, couldn't get out of there fast enough! They add a certain je ne sais quoi to the side of our house.

Realistic looking snakes.
I put these throughout my two blueberry bushes in the hopes that their realness would deter birds from eating the berries. Didn't work. I'd find some of them on the ground in the morning as if a bird had come along and picked it out of the bush and then decided it was only plastic so dropped it a few feet from the bush. I'll keep searching for the perfect economical solution to deterring birds from eating all the blueberries. But these snakes are quite realistic looking.

Many uses! Great colors!
Worked like a charm! We bought the snakes to put behind out shutters to discourage birds from building nests there. There was a lot of squabbling going on at first but the birds couldn't convince the fake snakes to vacate, so the birds left to find snake free potential nesting sites.

Simple solution for an aggravating problem
I have a lot of squirrels that love to dig in my vegetable garden. I bought these to deter the pests and, so far, they have worked perfectly! I move them around and can’t believe that I haven’t a single squirrel in the garden.

Good garden tool to deter cats (fingers crossed)
Bought these for the garden, to try my luck at keeping the neighborhood cats out of the garden. Bought at same time with scat mats, and things have improved.

Did not work to keep birds out of my blueberries
I used rubber snakes last year to scare songbirds out of my 20 blueberry bushes. They worked well , but they deteriorated and cracked apart in the north Florida climate. These snakes were smaller and not realistic than last year, but they held up. We did not get any blueberries this year, but the songbirds were well fed.
