Doesn't taste like butter when mixed for spreading. It tastes a bit like powdered milk. Will be really good on popcorn. Probably will help when I'm put of butter for a recipe, or just want a lower fat option. Many of us will happily sacrifice flavor for calories, so giving this 4 stars because it serves its purpose. I think should be advertised as a lower fat option.

I sometimes wonder if those that think they received an expired can is actually only seeing the lot date? Acquired 08/2022, Mine says 07/2022, then a few lines over says 2032-- which is the lot date and expiration (or best by) date respectively. Butter and some mixes are good for 10 years, some stuff is good for 25. SO basically I got mine as fresh packed as can be. Also, that is BEST BY date, does not mean it is expiring that day. Best by is basically guaranteeing the best quality if used within that time. After that it can degrade in texture, taste, freshness, but not necessarily goes bad. Mild denting in can. Would prefer no dents, but this does not appear to impact the integrity of the can. These cans are pretty much made to take a beating, and so I am not concerned. Still, would be better for them if they can ship off a pristine container. Prices fluctuate, and we all have different budgets, needs, etc.. so I dont rate on price. I think it is a good brand, good product. I prefer to wait and buy when any of their stuff goes on sale. Better to buy when you dont yet need it rather than waiting until you are scrambling to find stuff. I buy non emergency packaging (ie bagged butter powder) for short term storage, for current use, camping, etc. I buy Augason farms #10 cans for long term storage. I only use them when the time draws near. Or if truly in need of it. These are mostly a tuck away and forget about it product. Hence why I look for sales. But I have certainly stocked up at full prices too. Just depends on where I am at with my food and budget needs.
