Intriguing Mechanical Toy
The TimberKits packaging is excellent: each component, however tiny, is allocated its own storage. The instructions are clear with good illustrations. The build process is logical and the end result is astonishing. Recommended!

Christmas gift
My daughter saw this years ago and was desperate for one, so as a surprise I bought her one. When she actually opens the box I’ll let you know how nice it is, she’s had it for couple of years. Box keeps well

Quick to do but lots of issues.
Some of the cams spin freely on the central dowel axis and will require gluing in place. The final riser with the tail rotates as it lifts which has to be constantly straightened. The butterfly does not rotate when the handle is turnedRelatively simple and quick to make.

Timberland Caterpillar
This is a great gift to teach a child how to build a moving model. The instructions were good and it was a very successful present. Packaging and delivery were excellent.

Fit for a child?
Glue was unadequate, took longer than 20 minutes in instrutions, reglued and after 12 hours first 2 crucial joints failed, about to teach 11 yr old how to use an electric drill and screw joints. Disappointed.

It is in very cheap box and the glu not even enough. Some of the part are very hard put toghter because the quality of it.
