I use these books in our tutoring sessions, She reads the Spanish version first (it goes fast, just 2-3 minutes) so she knows the story; then I read the English to her; and finally she reads the English back to me and I help her with pronunciation. She reads the books to her children in English, Her third grade daughter is learning to read and write only English in school, so she has her daughter read the Spanish version out loud to her and the younger children. Everyone is learning and enjoying it. I will gradually purchase the entire set for her. It's a wonderful opportunity for the entire family.
