EDIT 05/07/19: Sennheiser has officially released the new 1.26 firmware update yesterday. The update now includes a Turn Off button for the earbuds in the app (Settings) which fixes the battery draining issues!! I've tested it and it works perfectly. The update also contains bug fixes such as the transparent mode which now stays active when you get a call. 3 weeks later I still truly love with these buds.I've been using the buds for about a week now and I truly love them. These are my first true wireless earbuds and I've been studying what was on the market for months before making a decision because I wanted to be sure I invested in the right ones. And let me tell you, I certainly don't regret my purchase. The sound is INCREDIBLE and as a musician it makes all the difference. I could have gone for much cheaper earbuds but the sound would never have been the same. When you put them on for the first time you realise how bad your previous ones were compared to them. And I had the Sennheiser Momentum Free so not the the worse but the cable around the neck was annoying me and I wanted to go full wireless. The EQ is really good and can help you to achieve the perfect sound you like.I was aware of the battery draining issue and was a bit worried about it but I didn't think it was that bad. I'm using the buds from Monday to Friday on my commute to work (1 hour) and the battery lasts me for 3 days without charging the buds/case so I only need to charge it on Wednesday. You won't feel the battery draining issue if you use them daily. If you don't, I read that Sennheiser is going to implement a ON/OFF toggle in one of the next app releases and they have confirmed to me that although it's not confirmed yet, they are looking into it.They also have confirmed to me that if you turn the bluetooth OFF, the ear buds will automatically switch off after 15 minutes so it can already help. The transparent mode is amazing. It was the first time I've experienced that and I still can't believe how good and useful this function is. I basically never need to take the buds out until I don't need them for the day anymore. When someone is taking to me, I just double tap on the right earbud and it automatically pauses the music and activates the microphone. In fact, it picks the sound so well around you I can hear my keys jingle in my trousers pocket when I walk!I love the touch controls too, it takes a bit of time to get used to but no more than a couple of uses. It's pretty easy to remember and Sennheiser really have thought of the best way to implement them. You've got the option to turn the voice control off from the app which I did as I don't use it much and I no longer activate it by accident. The connection is really good although I've experienced a few drop outs. There is that spot at a train station where I wait for my train every evening where it's going to cut off a lot unless I move. I don't know whether it's caused by the crowds or other nearby devices but it's only at that particular spot which is weird. They will also cut off for about 1 second every time I walk past the security gates at local Sainsbury's. But it hasn't bothered me much and does happen very rarely. I think Sennheiser might fix that in the future as this product is still quite new on the market. The design of the buds is also something else that Sennheiser really have nailed. They are SO comfortable and I never had the impression they would fall out at anytime. They don't make you look like an insect from behind like the Bose SoundSport Free and the design has been thought and made to stay secure in your ear. You almost forget they are there and it's so amazing to be completely free of cables. I read that some people felt a discomfort after an hour use, I have too around the ear lobe at some occasions but in that case I just move them up slightly and it instantly feels better and I can carry on with my use without a problem.I'm so happy with them I literally can't wait to use them next. The price was also something that made me hesitate for a while and I initially thought of knocking 1 star down because of it but after using them properly for a week I just can't. The quality makes it totally worth it.

Great quality sound, only the best from Sennheiser!!!!
I have to say the sound is excellent! One star down for the price, and the battery not being the best compared to others on the market. You can get other true wireless earphones for alot less that do sound good with more bells and whistles and better battery life, but would they sound like the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earphones probably not.For me it was out of the Sony WF-1000XM3 but what put me off was the lack of audio codecs on them as only having SBC & AAC and no water resistant at all, but does have great noise cancelling what the sennheiser dont have.Sennheiser have SBC, aptX, aptX LL, AAC and being IPX4 rated so has some water resistant unlike the Sony. But no noise cancelling what the sonys does best. So with that and the better sounding earphones coming from the Sennheisers along with great sound stage I went with what I believed to be better in my opinion. The fit of the earphones are great, alittle uncomfortable at first but your ears will get use to it.The charging case I have had little issues with it draining, more so when I used an 3rd party case to protect the original case the pull tab strap was on the button in the case, after moving the strap away from the button I had less of an issue with draining battery. If you are after the best sound quality from true wireless earphones that are on the market and can put up with the battery not being the best and some draining then the Sennheiser's are for you. If you care about battery life then maybe the Sennheiser's are not for you.I have been using the Sennheiser's app with my custom eq preset on the app on android. Along with poweramp with my custom eq. I am currently using the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5g, so I am taking avantage of the audio codecs on the Sennheiser's earphones. No lag on videos because its using the aptX / aptX LL codecs. When you see the sennheiser's being reviewed the reviewers are always using an iphone to test them. The iphones only uses AAC maybe SBC codecs as well, so the best audio codecs are not being used to there full potential. along with music being streamed to test them. High quality music files is to be used to get the best of of them is what I can say.*** UPDATE; I had some issues with my left ear bud not working at times after testing them more and same for the battery from the app showing 100% when my phone showing the buds at 10% battery?.. more battery drain to after an day fully charged without being used it shows green, then the next day less than 24 hours it would show orange hard to tell if they are charged and ready to go or not.If the battery drain issues was fixed by an firmware update man these would be the best of the best, they did sound amazing. I was running the newest firmware to. I did see that an newer version is coming let's hope better battery with no drain issues and same sound would be the best available for sure with added ANC.As from that I have returned them, and may go for the Sony WF-1000XM3 as they dont have as much issues going on like the Sennheiser's did have, but have to say the Sennheiser's had the best sound and still believe the Sony's wont sound as good. ***
